they're fine, don't worry. they're a deity of human survival. they are the joy of the hunt and the feast, they are the wonder of art and human connection, they are the stories on the wall. and they love humankind.

I imagine they can be as small as a horse or as big as a blue whale. they're impossibly graceful. spotting them in the far distance means your hunt will be easy and successful. they are as solid as rock but their fur is soft and warm like a boulder in the sun. only a few humans have ever met them face to face, and those who have are allowed to add their hand print to their tail.

Rising from my grave to voice my distaste for the Marchenghast castle story line

star stable dont be racist for one storyline difficulty level fucking IMPOSSIBLE

having the the witches be the only group to have SOME poc, and then have their ancestors in he story be attacked, murdered, have the culture erased, their homes built over top of, just to have them say shit like "we have all done bad things and violence is bad no matter what side your on UnU" girl...

im sorry, since when has avenging your dead ancestors, your homes, your livelihoods, your culture EVER been a bad thing? these witches and beasts were slaughtered and this is the take that the writers are going with? right,, ok.

like, literally in the start of the damn game you commit CRIME to save the moorland farm, so Thomas and Justin can keep their home. repeatedly in the game we go out of our way to do the right thing for our cause, whether or not its entirely legal. we sneak into private property, destroy private property, all for the sake of the greater good.

but sso will have a group of people in their game be a different race/culture, and then have them be othered because of their race/culture, and then try to take a "violence and law breaking is bad" stance.

i really REALLY wanted to like the Marchenghast questline, but this is just, insane. sso, please get more poc and culturally diverse people on your team, or at least have someone read this shit over before yall put it in the game.

These Strange Steppes: A TTRPG

Hi everypony! I'm happy to announce that I've uploaded my first TTRPG to itch.io! It's card-based, GM-less, light on rules, designed for 2-6 players, and totally free!

You are a horse exploring the remains of a rural village with your herd, a group of young upstarts that recently split from the dominant main herd of the nearby plains. Your task is to discover what poisoned the land and caused all of the previous residents to disappear— and whether or not it’s coming for you as well. Together, you must face obstacles from scarce resources to starving predators, all while being stalked by enigmatic beings who never get close enough for you to identify.
