Info: Ivanna moved to Jorvik at 16 years old, together with Summerrain, for a Summer job. There she got a leasing horse to compete, since her Gelding was already retired. She eventually fell in love with this mare and bought her, that horse was her soulsteed Nightpearl. The summer job eventually ended put Ivanna kept finding jobs as well as places to sleep at, enjoying the idyllic life on Jorvik, she decided to stay.

Ivanna is a friendly and and helpful person with a lot empathy, you could describe her as a bit of a pushover as well. While aroace, Ivanna is full of love for her fellow peers. She is part of the keepers of Aideen and the incarnation of the goddess herself, she does not know that however. The other druids silence and secrecy eventually leads her to become less trusting of them and question their morals and actions more.

At the rescue Ranch she not only takes care of the horses but also of Madison, whom she is very fond of. Hugh has become a father figure for her, keeping all those secrets from him hurts her, but she feels like it is for the best. Woody was a birthday present from him for her 18th birthday. She is a jack of all traits when it comes to riding, training not only the horses on the rescue ranch but also for other stables and Horse owners.

After some years working on the ranch, Ivanna decided to follow her dream of becoming an Independent trainer. She bought a stable in Goldenhills valley, where her own and the clients Horses can stay and be trained.

She keeps in contact with her Parents over sending letters, leaving out a few things of course. For example, all the magic stuff or the fact that she has 4 horses now….

After announcing to her Parents that she is independent now and owns a stable, she also confessed about her 4 horses. While suprised, they were very proud of their daughter.

I saw two that were dressed up as Kembell and one as Ydris. So happy for them.

But many wear white and black stripped tops or sabine.

And for some reason Questfarer, like the entire set.

Like every theme had a handfull of people just in the questfarer set and nothing added. Did they not know there was a theme they supposed to follow? Or did they think that set worked for everything?

I hope we all remember that at the end of the day this is a game made for children and young teens and that this event is just for fun. Sabine is a familiar "villain" face in this game and is probably the first thing that came to a lot of kids' minds when they saw the theme. It's also a stretch to see using black/red or black/white as uncreative because why wouldn't people think of those colors for a villain? Who's going to understand or vote for a rainbow colored villain? No offence, but imho yall expect too much from a game made for children sometimes

Sometimes I forget about that, since there are so many adults playing sso on Tumblr. I guess I should be more pissed, that SSE probably only released the sabine outfit and horse for this reason. I just got mad, that the creators themself seem to not care about the other dark riders, like they do about Sabine.

I'll admit my mistake. and you're also right about red and black being villain colours since the crack of dawn. and to be fair, I also saw some people dressed as skeletons/Ghosts, one looked like a bog witch and some dressed like DC workers.

I just overreacted after seeing all the Sabine "merch" SSE has been forcing down our throats for a while now. Thanks for reminding me, that it is in fact just a kids Game and not that deep

The Flying Foxes

Ivanna is part of the flying foxes and great friends with Emma, Sonja and Luciana. Sonja was pretty much her first friend on Jorvik. Emma and her met when Ivanna worked for the Goldenhills stables, not for a long time but the two hit it right off, after that they stayed in touch thanks to Sonja . Similair to Emma, Luciana and Ivanna also met doing both all sorts of work. They mostly do trail rides together, but every now and then they compete under their club name. Now that Ivanna rents a stable from Steve, Luciana and her spend a lot more time together.

Josh

These two met when Ivanna first came to Jorvik and John still worked at Moorland stable. He was her introduction to Western riding, Ivanna only ever rode english before that. I'd describe their relationship as quite handsy. Both of them are big on physical touch, they love to hug, cuddle and even sometimes hold hands. Many who first meet them think they are dating, when they meet his girlfriend, Beatriz, they get confussed (fuck the real lore , these two are dating in my world)

They also meet after Ivana's arrival. She is not quite as cuddly as Josh, but still big on touch. Many people are puzzled at her lack of apprehension on her boyfriends and Ivannas relationship. She however is very comfortable in her relationship and sees not problem with both of them. She trust Josh, he is a loyal man and adores her. She also trust Ivanna, not because she is aroace, but because Beatriz knows that she is also a loyal soul that would never hurt her friends like that.

Moving again

This was actually not planted at all. And whole Ivanna is really thankful for the people at Golden hill stable, there was just too much work to be done on the barn. There wasn't that much pasture space, the stables itself wasn't that easily accessible and there was only one Arena near by, that she had to share with the riding students. It was good to get her buisness started, but now,it just wasn't right anymore. This was when Steve started to offer Ivanna a new pace.

More pasture space, a separate round pen, a bigger herd of stallions to turn her own out with as well and a new stable .while Steve himself also has only one arena that is shared with students as well, Marley offered her his private Arenas as a thanks for her help in the past. Plus, the barones racing track, multiple outdoor and indoor arenas aren't too far away either and the barones gives her a discount on the monthly rent, for all the work Ivanna has done for her so far. So she has a lot more space and possibilities to train her clients horses.

On top of all that, steve's stable is very centered on the island and easily reached. Ivanna is confident, that she and her little Herd are going to stay here for a while.

Horses I think are in desperate need of being updated!

Just wanna say first off I know some of these horses are already being updated or have been hinted as being a priority for the sso team to update but I want to mention them anyhow.

OUR STARTER HORSE

Our starter horse is sooo crusty, I can't believe it's been 8 years since it was updated it does not feel that long at all. It's animations are really bad, really outdated, the horse is just really stiff in general. It has that stiffness and bad gallop that a lot of early gen 3 horses had when they were being released. In a recent survey that SSO put out they listed the starter horse as being an option for one of the horses they can update (out of many others though), so clearly it's in their mind to do it. I hope it's soon!

2. The Fjord horse

Okay this one was announced on their story not too long (I just about screamed when it was announced) so I'm so excited! The gen 3 Fjord horses we have now are a mess and suffer the same problems I talked about with the starter horses. They're stiff, they gallop really weirdly, but it's mainly how stiff they are that gets me. With some of the really new horses you can see how almost "dead" these other outdated horses look, the new horses have nice idle animation or other quirks which I think really make the horse feel alive. I'm so excited for the Fjord though! And maybe hopefully it'll link somehow to the Kallters please sso...

3. North Swedish Horse

Okay this one is totally just a huge bias for me because the North Swedish Horse was the first horse I ever bought in 2017, obviously the gen 1 version. And stupid 10 year old me later SOLD this horse when some newer horses came out, and I never bought another one before they were retired completely. This is quite literally my biggest regret in my whole time of playing star stable. The gen 3 (or 2? whichever you call the one we have right now) north swedish horse is again, stiff and the animations are pretty poor. I think they're in desperate need of an update. Also we could use more neutral coats like the gen 1 North Swedish horses had. I miss my gen 1 North Swedish horse everyday :(

I'm convinced, that the only reason, why they removed the restriction of you being able to only take your starter for some of the main quests and to pandoria,is just so that players aren't as bothered by the starters outdated looks. That way, they do not need to update the Jorvik warmblood every time there is new tack and a better updated look for their game in general

for my fellow psychotics who struggle with thinking someone is in their house, a method I’ve found that really works are these guys:

i put them on my front door and anytime it opens they ring. that way if i think someone has broken in or i see someone who isn’t there i can think back to if the bells have rung, and if they haven’t i can assure myself it’s not real. obviously it’s not fool proof, like if you are prone to auditory hallucinations, but it has really helped me calm down in time to avoid major psychotic breaks. it’s a real lifesaver

Box trick also works. Just get an empty soda box and put it infront of the door, if the box is still unmoved from where you put it, theres probably nobody in your house

My hate for the SSO medieval camp is ruthless I'm sorry. It hasn't been better since the far superior Marchenghast update came out 💀

A dark epic story involving nobles, witches, a cool functioning weapon, and badass-looking beastly creatures vs a lame Renaissance Faire, you tell me

I still stand with my opinion, that the medieval camp would have worked better as a seasonal Event/ part of a seasonal event, kinda like the red String trail Ride. I just find people cosplaying knights 24/7 and talking posh all year round a bit...odd.

Also, what the fuck does Bonny have to do with that? She never mentioned an interest in all that stuff before
