"Re," Daeron hiccuped, "remain still." He grabbed a chunk of white hair. A thick paste began to cover the silver as a deep earthy red.

The young boy's eyes dart from the looking glass to himself. "Are you certain it'll be alright?"

A bemused smile twitched on the man's wine stained mouth. "Egg has not one nick on his head and I was far more drunk than I am currently."

Young Daeron shifted with a shallow breath. "He said you nearly fell asleep and dropped the blade a many of times."

"And did you see a nick on him?"

"No." Daeron pressed his mouth together. "Did you dream of such things happening?"

The man takes steady inhale. Daeron tries to wager the other's expression. Anger isn't forefront in his demeanor. Even so his shoulders do not lax. "Not exactly. It wouldn't be such a terrible thing to dream of. Not like other instances." The boy's finger twist between one another.

Older Daeron steps away making the other turn a bit. An exaggerated frown and raised eyebrows is met with a deeply concerned young face. Daeron grabbed his chalice of wine. Bits of brown paste stuck onto the detail engravings. "I should have remained in Oldtown." The boy pushed against his chair.

Daeron swirled the cup and drank the last drop. He lowered the cup and took a deep breath. "I should have remained at the inn but the wine, here, is better." He lifted the cup with a small smile. The looking glass showed a Hightower being revealed and a Targaryen burying themselves away.
