So FYI, most movie theaters make their money from the concessions.

As a former theater manager who wants theaters to stick around, I prefer to sneak food in but buy an Icee, or sneak in candy and drinks then buy popcorn.

But also most employees couldn't care less if you sneak food in, and most managers only care about food sales so if you befriend them they might let you in without a ticket as long as you buy a concession (it makes their stats better).
