Watching Goodbye Lara right now, highly recommend. It's a sapphic yuri retelling of The Little Mermaid: Lara (Ariel) turns to sea foam after being rejected by her prince and is awoken in modern day Japan and must find true love to break a curse, but this time, she falls for an aloof, tomboy boxer girl. Gorgeous anime with painted backgrounds, fantastic character animation, great color design, and flat cel-shading. Feels like a classic 2000s OVA, even down to the jpop love ballad OP.

So everyone who’s friends with me on there knows: my Discord was hacked, but I’ve now got my password changed and it appears to be resolved. It looks like it’s made me leave a lot of servers and group chats as well as unfriend a lot of people, so I’ll try and sort that out when I’m home

a quick update on this: It is basically all resolved; I've changed my passwords on there and other places, I've ran some security scans and there's nothing in my computer itself it was just a data breach which has been sorted. However because whatever bot got ahold of my account spammed mr beast bitcoin phishing scams everywhere, Discord quite reasonably limited my account, so they told me I wouldn't be able to send messages, join servers etc until August 13th. Of course that's today, but I don't have access yet, so I'm assuming it's a 24 hour ban (which if true should lift about 7 hours from now)

i just think thats beautiful to find out that a little known game you made when you were in your 20s inspired a kid (who was like probably fucking 7 years old when it came out) who grew up to make one of the most beloved games ever made

The thing in Mebius that they wanted you to read but wasn't subbed was the 5 Ultra Oaths from the end of Return of Ultraman. I'm sorry for breaking that to RoU's single biggest hater in the multiverse.

Yeah I meant to say I did soon pick that up from it being Ryu moping about Serizawa Taichou thankfully, bc Mebius is good. so in the 2003 Aquaman series they introduce a new backstory for archvillain Black Manta in which the entire reason for his (hyper)fixation on destroying Aquaman's life was severely maltreated autism, which Aquaman then cures him of with his magic water hand to completely redeem him. and this is obviously insanely stupid and ill-conceived and genuinely hateful, but given all of that, this is still one of the funniest speech balloons i've ever read in a comic. me @ myself when i remember how i acted in high school or whatever
