hey this is a random question and i feel like i read it somewhere, but how well do ‘98 furbies take nail polish on their eyelids?

i’d assume it would make the eyelid sticky and harder to move when turned on, but the furby i’m planning on painting (confetti) doesn’t work (i believe one of her wires is snapped inside, and trying to figure out which one is broken and soldering it and everything like that is a little more trouble than it’s worth imo) so i’m more concerned about it affecting the eyelid plastic. any tips?

I havent used it on eyelids but ive ised it on face plates and it works really well! It doesnt even make it sticky. The only problem is if u mess up u cant get rid of it cuz nail polish remover would mess up the plastic

I use nail polish on many of my furbs’ eyelids but you do have to be careful. Some nail polish brands eat away a furb’s eyelid plastic. Do a test spot at the back or underneath the eyelid before painting or you could end up with a melty mess like this poor child:

Those clumps are warped plastic, not nail polish clumps.

Always do test spots unless you don’t give a f**k.

hello everyone!! it’s been a while but i return bearing great news!

1. i’m back home so i can finally be reunited with my Kids

2. i finally figured out how to actually get the eye chips out so i spent all day making new eyes for my ‘98 furbies!! i pretty much just remade champagne’s heart eyes because i loved them so much hehe

if you’ve been here a while you might recall i didn’t have names for my church mouse and snowball furbies, but i decided on names today!!

the church mouse’s name is hazel, and the snowball’s name is confetti :)
