ADHD affects how I experience time, not how I experience attachment. I love you. I miss you. I just don't realize how long it’s been since I last said that, let alone messaged.
I understand that most normal functioning brains need regular engagement to maintain a bond. Absence doesn’t diminish my affection. My silence isn’t neglect or disinterest. It’s time blindness and object impermanence. The contact gap is purely neurological, not emotional. Thank you for being patient with my inconsistency and holding a seat in your heart for me.

Panels like this make me really confused why people read Tsubaki as cisgender. Because whilst I understand she is confirmed to be such by the author of the manga, her identity and presentation and how she views what she has been through is so interwined with the trans experience.
Whilst I understand realising you are feminine as a man might be very much a major occurance, Tsubaki actively views the person she was before as different in some way- her past self. That sort of division really speaks to me as pre transition, the person she was before she became herself today.
"Becoming the person I want to be" feels a lot deeper than presentation, and I respect everyone's headcanons and understand that some people do find comfort in her as a cis feminine man, but god it is so relatable to the trans experience
Like look!!! Shes talking about her past self and how that was a point of suffering!!! There is an active dislike to her masculine and male presenting past which is so easy to read as dysphoria
I don't know. This is a general overarching image of how she views her life but the idea that people shaped her into who she is today. Tsubaki the woman you are. I like to view her as both a woman and nonbinary on various days but I just adore the fact that even if its not canon we have such a beautiful image of what it feels like to be a trans person
I love wind breaker sm, but I'm not going to lie, I genuinely believe that the insistence from Satoru Nii that tsubaki is a feminine man is rooted in transphobia and/or misogony. I know the setting is this weird fictional world with school gangs and no teachers, and that bofurin is meant to be a "boys school," but genuinely the lack of women throughout the entire series always makes me raise a bit of an eyebrow.
I've also considered that by canonically making tsubaki trans, he has to explain away why shes still at bofurin, which as previously stated, is supposed to be a boys school
Either wat it sucks, because I think the entirety of wbk can be fascinating to look at through a trans reading (Sakura feels so closeted to me) but the lack of story relevant women just rubs me the wrong way.

PSA the "si" in shared YouTube links stand for Seal Indicator. This means there is a nefarious seal tracking your information and will give YouTube your data in exchange for fish. Please remove the part after "?si=" before you click on it or share the link with others because it is a tracking token!
This is true of any url! You can delete everything agher the ? when you share a url and it will delete all the tracking bits.
would like to add that the stuff after ? isn't always a tracking token, sometimes it contains important info for the link to actually work (e.g. it could contain the video ID). however, try opening a link without the ? string; if it works then there's no harm in getting rid of it 🦭👌
