WANDERER obviously is a tsundere and is OBVIOUSLY very slow burn trope so like…

Idk I just think it’d be a cute idea that Wanderer enjoys subtle affections and does things that are more meaningful rather than outright and big! Like YES if he were to be in a relationship he’d have your favorite perfume/cologne memorized. Like your scent would be on everything; his clothes, his bed, maybe even his lips like???? If you ever run out of your favorite perfume he buys more just to keep the smell.

It’d also be sweet of him to keep little mementos so like if you bought him a necklace or something he’d be all tsundere and nonchalant like,

“Bro wtf is this I’m not wearing this ever.”

But the very next day you see him wearing it or like he uses it as a bookmark for his research!!! He just keeps it close because you’re one of the few people he can properly trust so far.

As well as like he memorizes your preferences and habits too cuz he’s very observant so he’d weekly buy you your favorite snacks or teas, as well as birthdays, or maybe whenever someone has you upset he can almost immediately identify what the root of the issue is. SO BASICALLY LIKE FOR EXAMPLE,

oh his partner gets upset because someone got made an unfunny joke that insulted their interest BOOM he explains why it wasn’t funny in his own prideful and least suspicious way.

But he’d still act very nonchalant and indifferent like you aren’t super important to him but you in reality are and very rarely does he outright say it. He likes to stay in his little lane to not get hurt again basically ykyk??

- Aether LOVES to style, decorate, or braid your hair!! He also buys little hair clips for you whenever he finds himself at the market.

- Takes your opinions to heart. You express your dislike for a specific food or action? He quickly memorizes that and works around it

—- Especially w/ pet names. If you have a pet name you hate or if you don’t like pet names at all he just as quickly stops.

- LOVES to include you in his daily routines. Please don’t let him cook all by himself!!

- Occasionally worries you’ll also mysteriously disappear like his sister so he holds you closely at night. Cuddling up to you like you’ll fade away with the wind.

- He gets super excited at the thought of introducing you to his dear Lumine. It’s very important to him you two get along.

- Buys or collects you little trinkets during his travels. Trinkets like jewelry, charms, and gems. If you miss out on being at an event he’ll definitely bring souvenirs and stories for you.

- Silently hopes that you’ll come along with him and his sister once his journey ends on Teyvat and travel the various worlds together.

Wanderer Worries!

author note : hihihi!!! I’m Val and this is my very first writing on here 😐😐😐 so I beg of any readers to criticize my writing and give tips as I genuinely wrote this to (hopefully) get better at creative writing…!

SUMMARY : Wanderer Worries and overthinks about your new relationship and if you’ll leave him too! Kinda angsty but like not really??? Just overthinking wanderer.

A short little writing on some random late night thoughts. I apologize for any mistakes this was made at 2am. SHOULD BE GENDERNEUTRAL!!!

WANDERER WORRIES

He’d never expect this. In his many decades of living the only relationships he has ever had were familial, back when his trust was easily accessible. Yet now he stands beside his first romantic lover, attempting to ignore the anxiety that lingers in the back of his mind as he’s given his first challenge; appearing vulnerable.

Putting his trust into people was and is still not his strongest attribute, yet he tries.

Wanderer tries by giving back what’s given to him. He adores whenever he’s given the smallest reminder that he’s still something to you in some way. Whether it be remembering the drinks or foods he preferred, or just accepting his more distant behaviors. So Wanderer does the same. He feeds you, scolds you, and worries the same way a regular human would. Though the new position he’s placed himself into has him fearing if allowing himself to be defenseless in front you will prove to be a positive or negative in the relationship. Will you leave him too like many others have once he’s gotten comfortable?

Are the names you call him a sort of acceptance of his newfound life? Of his efforts of wanting to be something or someone in this world? Or are they merely placeholders until you grow bored of him and find a better puppet to love?
