So often I think about this video I saw like 6 years ago where a trans guy was talking about his own experience with loss of community as a trans man and some cis guy stitched the video saying something along the lines of "Dont you EVER say that cis men dont experience loss of community because we all start off being women's favorite little guy and as we grow up they all become scared of us!" (Paraphrasing, its been 6 years.) In the most angry tone,, And that just like...keeps coming back to my mind. Like no dude your own self report that women dont feel safe around you doesnt compare with transmascs experience with feeling unwelcome in women's spaces and unsafe in mens and therefore feeling like they have no community.
