            yuuki had just woken up, still getting used to the manor & everything else crazy that had recently happened in her life. there was no sign of kaname, so she decided to shower before the day began. much better a place to clear her head, than to lay in bed overthinking. 

     she got undressed, setting the water just slightly hotter than perfect, knowing she’d only turn it up; & got in with a big sigh. not minutes later she heard movement outside the curtain & then kaname was in there with her. she couldn’t stop herself from looking him up & down, knowing he was her’s was beyond her comprehension.

             she shifted as kaname lifted & rearranged her. her slender legs wrapped around his waist in mere habit before she even thought through the action, hands brushing the hair that fell in her way when he moved. damn, was she content. all she needed was this. 

     did she wish to do more? the need to do so roared within her & she could tell at this point that kaname felt it too. he wanted this just as much as she did, maybe even more; if that was possible. maybe it was, but she wasn’t so sure. 

     she slowly removed tiny, pointed fangs from the elder’s neck; wiping her mouth with the black sleeve of her shirt. large, brown eyes looked up at the other as she pulled his face down to level with hers.

             BUN. I'm 100% caught up on this blog & so, so happy that people seem to be taking to my yuuki. I've never actually written her before this & it just honestly makes me happy that I have any activity with her at all. you guys are all so sweet & I'm so, so happy to be writing in this fandom. 

I'm going to head to bed soon, but for the time being I'm going to be working on my VK sideblog ( message me if you want details! ) & trying to get threads done on my multi-oc blog!

            newly awakened as a vampire or not, she could sense the smell of blood clear as day. it couldn’t be far. she had herself under enough control to not devour the first person she saw bleeding, but still. the bloodlust in the back of her mind was simply going crazy.

     she came across the blonde, a surprising amount of blood dripping from a gash in one of her hands. yuuki was simply going crazy by the smell, but still, she held back. she was human, after all. she could only imagine how mad kaname would be if he found out, & there was no doubt about him finding out.

Hearing her even breathing had him crack a smile. She was safe, comfortable and in a good slumber. Kaname gently positioned her so that her head was over his heart. He had read in a book that by hearing someone’s steady heartbeat as they slept, it calmed them and was able to help them sleep better. It was how newborn animals slept by listening to the heartbeat of their mothers. Maybe she would be at ease if she heard the beating heart of her fiance? Kaname leaned forward and gave Yuuki a sweet tender kiss on her forehead.

❝ Goodnight, my dear girl ❞ he murmured, softly as he ran his fingers gently through her hair in a comforting manner. 

           she awoke the next morning in a panic for a mere moment until she realized she was in kaname’s room. she was wrapped tightly within her arms, her head placed firmly under her chin. there had been no room for the nightmares to come back the night prior, brother had kept well in his promise to keep them away. he always did. she was content, even as young as she was; she would lay in the other arms for hours if that’s what he wanted from her. he was her everything, all she ever needed. 

     she stayed silent, not wanting to move too much or to wake the older up if he hadn’t already awoken. truthfully, yuuki felt bad enough for waking him in the middle of the night last night, she’d wait for him to greet her or at least move around a bit before moving herself or speaking aloud.
