taeil: purposely has his desk over in a dark corner, tacks black and white photos of stuff printed off from a shitty printer all over his cubicle, comes by your desk and gives you two donuts he bought on the way in because he changed his mind and doesn’t want them anymore

johnny: social butterfly, knows everyone’s name and asks them to lunch at least once, probably really pushes the business casual dress code and wears sneakers and dark jeans, the boss loves him even though he never gets any work done, charms his way out of performance reviews

taeyong: teaches a zumba class to the coworkers on tuesdays after work, has a really decorated lanyard, always cleans the coffee pot and refills it, constantly tired and drinks cup after cup of breakfast tea, goes nuts when someone puts donuts in the break room

yuta: knows everyone’s business, always gossiping with johnny about so and so and sends sketchy mass emails hinting at the drama, cubicle is completely barren except for a kitten calendar that haechan gave him as a joke for secret santa, drinks probably eight bottles of diet mountain dew everyday 

doyoung: the boss, cubicle is a mess always, has photos of loved ones everywhere and sometimes spaces out looking at them, has several commemorative souvenir mugs lined up on his shelf, gets there before you and leaves after you 

jaehyun: sucks up to the boss and doyoung has none of it, probably gets 6 secret admirer carnations whenever theres a charity sale in the lobby, goes hard when the girl scout parents set up cookie tables outside the office and comes back to his desk with 10 boxes of thin mints  

winwin: the boss has to call him every other day because he got distracted playing with a cat or staring at a flower pot and is two hours late to work, seems completely clueless but somehow gets all his work done and has the highest performance review

mark: the intern turned full time who still is in intern mode and always asks doyoung if he needs a coffee refill, second highest performance review after winwin, has stacks of pennies in front of his monitor that he periodically adjusts, forgets his password and has to call IT to reset it once a week

haechan: child prodigy, loves to pick on taeyong and prank taeil, eats all of the candies at reception, wears an argyle sweater vest that his mom bought for him 4 out of 5 days a week, gets put in charge of office supplies and makes sure everyone has a personal hand sanitizer dispenser during flu season

It has been 1 year since Yoongi release his mixtape ‘Agust D’. 1 year since he poured his heart into every single song, sleepless nights composing and perfecting each song, being open about his depression, his struggles, his life, his career. Open about his desire for money and fame. Open about the struggles to leave his hometown Daegu and move to Seoul without money. Open about how much he suffered, giving up his youth to be part of a group, to become an idol. Open about how his life changed when he started composing songs, the success he didn’t got through his studies, he finally got with his music. Open about being lonely, but despite that working as hard as he could to compose songs. Open about how much he suffered with his inner demons, how he managed to somehow treat himself knowing depression has no cure, because music helped him, it made him stronger. Open about his weakness. Open about how he was pretending to be someone he wasn’t, until he finally found himself, composing, writing lyrics, working on his songs. And finally, most importantly, accepting himself, despite all the hardships he went through in his life, he managed to get his well deserved top spot now, one that he was aiming for such a long time, along with his BTS members, his family, his team mates. He never stopped working hard, even if it was difficult, even if he was struggling. In the end, what matters is that if you’re humble, the end will be prosperous (as he says in his song ‘So Far Away’ feat Suran). Thanks for being an awesome, passionate, inspiring and strong human being, trusting enough your fans to share so much about your personal life like this, you inspire many of us to keep going, we will all be in full bloom at the end of all these hardships in life. I love you.
