The Blood Moon had been an experience that Samuel had not wished to repeat, though thankfully he had made it through another one and he hoped all of his siblings had as well. In fact that was what he was doing, searching for his family when he came across a familiar face; Alesana Lynn a vampire he had taken under his wing about a century ago. Taking a step forward, he figured his search for his siblings could come to a halt for a moment as he talked with an old friend. âCanât a friend stop by and say hello, Ally.â
The familiar voice immediately caught her attention, dark eyes shooting up to look at Samuel. She had a lot to thank him for, but now didnât seem to be the time. At least not in the middle of a farmersâ market. She stood up, a smile perking up the corner of her lips. âNo-- of course!â She said, happily walking around the table to give her mentor a hug. When she pulled away, she laughed out of habit and of joy. âLong time no see, Samuel. I never thought Iâd see you here or anywhere else for that matter.â
The sun was bright in the sky and the town was finally settling down from the previous nightâs rampage. Farmers and gardeners alike were setting up stand around her as to get ready for their weekly marketing. On Alesanaâs table sat boxes of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, grapes, various berries and her favorite items of all-- a handful of succulents she was willing to give up to the right buyers. A straw hat kept the sun out of her face and a floor length sun dress to do the same to her body. She sat in an old lawn chair, book in hand as she waited for the customers to stumble in. When a figure approached she barely looked up from her novel, too entranced in the pages in front of her. Still, she continued her work by asking the person, âHow may I help you today?â

ââYou wannaâ talk about it? Iâd offer you a drink but Iâm fresh out a beer.â
âThere are just some things that canât be talked about over empty beer bottles and nameless faces.â
aemiliacarmikael:
The road that Aemilia walked along was silent, her eyes staring blankly at the path that lead before her. The usual waves in her hair now in tangles, and in some parts darkened with dry blood â outfit still head to toe, torn and tattered in dirt. The only thing that really kept her up on her feet was the feeling of her body beginning to heal and the thirst to hunt, not only for blood but also for her need to revenge.
The road was a long one. One that Alesana didnât remember in this town and finding her way home had been difficult enough before she noticed a figure trudging across the street from her. Her eyes narrowed to make out whether or not it was someone she knew and while there was vague familiarity, the name fell short. âHey!â She called out, sprinting on asphalt until finding herself next to the worn out woman. She could smell the stale blood, refusing to breath through her nose for the time being. âAre you okay?â
charminglysinful:
A smirk grew at the corner of his lips, he knew that tone - the struggled she was battling. He spent centuries of his life fighting that urge, only to fail - or win, depending on how you wanted to look at it. âThen perhaps we should get you something to eatâŠâ
âI-I-- Unless you have blood bags, then I donât think thatâs a good idea.â She murmured, eyes scanning up to land on his face that was still stained by the crimson liquid that previously dripped down it. Her breath was still caught in her chest, avoiding the mess he had left between them. âWho are you?â
charminglysinful:
Noah watched as the girls face changed, all colour drained from her face instantely and if he hadnât of seen the veins under her eyes he might for a minute of believed she was human. ââYou look hungry.â He stated, not voicing it as a question.
Alesanaâs brows arched and who knew that a single word could strike a certain nerve in her, like plucking the strings of a broken down harp. âMaybe just a little bit.â She practically growled underneath her breath as the words left her pale, cracked lips.
charminglysinful:
Noahâs head raised from the mans neck, mouth dripping with blood, arms holding the limp figure of a man who was almost twice his size upright with ease. âItâs good to be back -â He growled, eyes shadowed by a deep shade of purple, he let the man fall to his kneeâs before twisting his head clean off his shoulders and tossing it aside without a care.
Alesana had trouble holding back the veins and altering colors beneath her eyes as blood dripped down from the corner of the strangers mouth. She closed her eyes, taking in one deep breath only to hold it in. âIâm just-- happy to hear that.â She said, hearing a loud thump that only caused her eyes to dart open. The head rolled over, landing in between her feet. And she thought the blood moon would be hard. Suppressing urges was even harder and this was just another test of her strength.
lcwson:
âUh, yeahâ take a look âround town and youâll see what Iâm swearinâ about.â
âAnd swearing is going to make everything all better, right? Listen-- I have a headache and youâre kind of being loud so if I could ask this kindly... just be quiet.â
sxmcel:
âWhereâs the vodka? If Iâm going down tonight, I want to go down swiggingâ yes you heard me correctly, I said swigging.â Samuel had been through the blood moon once before and fought tooth and nail to survive but with nearly 500 years of bad choices and no emotions, this made tonight particularly annoying.Â
âIs our poor little vampire stunned by human emotion, Sammy poo?â Alesana said, a laugh slipping past her pale lips. At least through all this chaos there was a familiar face, no matter how irritating he was. âPlus-- who says you need alcohol to forget things?â
He damaged her wings and demanded her to fly.

Haunting // Halsey
As soon as the hunter dropped, Sebastian fell with him. Heâs never felt so helpless in his life; though he had never used magic against anyone. Greatful for the young womanâs quick, he looked back at the hunter before looking back at the woman - who was already examining him. A simple nod of his head answer her question as he coughed, turning his head away from her. âIâm better..â He slightly paused. âBetter than him.â
âI think a lot of people are better off than him.â She laughed, more nervous than anything else before coming to an awful realization. âWe should probably get out of here before he comes to again. I donât think heâll be too happy with me.â She slowly got to her feet, holding a hand out for his to take. She wasnât used to violence, or people being hurt in front of her, but she was willing to anything to keep someone who was seemingly innocent, safe. âMy place isnât far from here. If weâre quick we can get there unnoticed.â
fxntaine:
It happened so fast. Warren was barely able to react before he felt a pain erupt above his right ear. The next thing he knew was that he was coming to and his shirt was covered in blood. As he struggled to sit up, a hand reached up to inspect the pain with shaking fingers. With the revelation now hitting him that he had been shot, his heavy eyes looked at the person who was stirring nearby.
âYou should get out of here. You canât be caught with a Fontaine.â
And for the first time in his life, Warren had muttered his own name out of fear for himself and for those around him.
It was all a big blur. One hellish nightmare after another just spread out in time. The brunette had no idea where she was, or where she was going, all she knew is that she had to find somewhere safe to be until this all died down. That was when she saw him. He was on the ground, shirt covered in crimson and a wound embedded in his flesh for the world to see. âOh my God!â She reacted quickly, falling to her knees behind him to examine the side of his head.
âI donât want to get out of here. Regardless of who you are, you need help.â She was slightly shocked by his response, not caring about the consequences of her own actions.Â
She bit down on the sleeve of her shirt, ripping enough fabric away to clean off the wound the male had, not giving it a second to see if he was willing to let her help. âShit!â She muttered, hands shaky in the process. âAm I hurting you?â
Naturally, Sebastian wasnât a fighter - a savior, but not a fighter. His work was done in a hospital. As a hunter took him by surprise, Bash instantly clasped his hands around his asilientâs arm as an attempt to pull him off. Grunting at the attempt to release him, he looked up when someone came into view; though he couldnât tell who. âWould you mind helping me out here?â He managed as the hunterâs grip tightened around Bashâs neck.
Alesana was caught off guard when she turned a corner to see a man being attacked. She stood, jaw practically to the floor for a moment before he noticed and asked for help. She frantically looked around until a glimmer peaked through the darkness around them-- a piece of old medical equipment. She may have been a mere human, but she knew how to give a good whack. She quickly, before the hunter could react, bashed him over the head until he fell to the ground knocked out cold. âA-Are you okay?â She asked, immediately taking the maleâs arms to examine his body for any wounds.
grace-sheridan:
Careful to stick to the shadows Grace watched as a hoard of people carrying an assortment of weapons charged past. Terror consumed her as the images of what she had witness moments before hand flashed before her eyes; a man and woman being hacked apart in the very streets she had walked down moments prior. Feeling a presence behind her she immediately stiffened, âJust tell me what you wantâ and we can both be on our way..â She muttered, slowly turning to face them.
âCome with me.â Alesana said quietly, holding a hand out towards the female who was far more scared than she had ever been. This town was chaos and it wasnât exactly a lovely introduction for her. The bridge, and now the moon. She hadnât necessarily been upset about reverting back to being a human, but the consequences were literally dire and her senses were tingling to help anyone she could. âI wonât hurt you, I promise.âÂ
wxlfiism:
âLook, I can get you where you need to go. But you gotta be smart about it, alright?â
âI-I-- Iâm sorry. Anything to get anywhere but here. Itâs absolute chaos.â
