I was just wondering what's your approach when it comes to starting a new project? like how do you do your outlines and organise ideas and stuff

Hi, what an amazing question! Uhm, my first answer would be utter chaos?

Like, I read or watch something that sparks a fic idea then my brain runs with it hurling bits of random information like "what if THIS but WOLFSTAR" or "what if THIS but VERY QUEER" or "we can have James play this character" or "let's ditch this whole plotline and add Marlene doing something totally different ". Then after a while when I give up and decide that apparently I'm writing that fic (I'm editing my original novel right now so I wanted to focus on that but I also need something lighter to work on so here comes the fanfiction) I sit down to organise it. I do character sheets, a bit of story and chapter planning (not too much because if I plan it fron beginning to end then I don't have fun with it anymore and the characters don't start doing random shit on their own which is one of the main reasons I write) and have at least a couple docs for random notes where I put all of the ideas that might or might not make it into the story. After that it's time to find the right music, sit down to write the first paragraph and see where it goes!

hey cool person... it's so hard to say!! it fluctuates very much depending on what mood i'm in. also it's very seasonally dependant (asteroid city is a summer movie, royal tenenbaums is an autumn one etc.)

hot take: i enjoyed isle of dogs the least lmao, which might change (i didn't appreciate rushmore too much at first but i came back to it after a few months absolutely frothing). also i couldn't manage to finish aquatic, i'll come back to it one day i swear. the contrarian in me tends to stray away from fantastic mr fox as a favourite but i can't deny how insane it is.

my most rewatched one is the grand budapest hotel, but that's only because i haven't gotten enough chances to rewatch tenenbaums yet. aesthetically, i like the latter the most—the characters are incredibly relatable and well written and the depth of the story is sickening. also it introduced me to elliott smith so it wins so many points for that. insane insane film.

i've only watched the pheonician scheme once (saw it in theatre) but i've watched the bathtub opening credits scene multiple times. i don't think wes anderson has lost his charm at all.

so my school is making the junior version of the musical FAME, right, and I got appointed senior assistant producer long story short I ended up as an “unofficial” (?…idek) senior head producer cause I did my job real well. the thing about all this is that I’m flunking like three classes and I’m in the middle of my term exams but also producing the school play, being assistant director, studying and fighting with my parents; cause you know the failing classes. fun times!my dad is now threatening me to take me out of the school play if I don’t get mu grades up.
