Cats meow as a communication towards humans specifically.

marbled pudding thumbprints

this is another yummy recipe that i’d like to share! it makes about 24 cookies

what you need:

- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour

- 3/4 cups sugar, plus more for sprinkling

- 1 tsp salt

- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

- 1/4 cup unsweetened dutch process cocoa powder

- 1 tbsp milk

- 1/3 cup prepared vanilla pudding

what to do:

1. position racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven; preheat to 350°. line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. stir in the melted butter and eggs until combined.

2. transfer one third of the dough to a small bowl; add the cocoa powder and milk and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. gently stir the cocoa dough back into the plain dough until it looks marbled.

3. drop tablespoons of dough about one inch apart onto the prepared pans; sprinkle generously with sugar. bake until the cookies are slightly puffed, 6-7 minutes. remove from the oven and make an indentation in the center of each cookie with the back of a teaspoon.

4. spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of pudding into each indentation. return the pans to the oven, switching their positions. bake until the cookies are lightly golden and set, about 6 more minutes. transfer the pans to racks and let cool 5 minutes, then remove the cookies to the racks to cool completely.

OATMEAL IS THE SHIT AND IF ITS A FEAR FOOD FOR YOU HERE’S WHY IT SHOULDN’T BE!!!

- FIBER!!! oatmeal is packed with fiber called beta-gluten which decreases cholesterol, reduces blood sugar and insulin response, and increases the growth of good bacteria in your gut. Also it makes you go to the bathroom

- ITS SUPER FILLING. 1/4 of a cup of quick oats(75) mixed with 3/4 cups water is a fairly large portion and it keeps you full for a long time which means that you’ll be less likely to eat a bunch of calories later

- ITS SUPER EASY TO MAKE!!! it literally takes like five minutes

- YOU CAN DO SO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS TO IT TO MAKE IT TASTE BETTER!!! lets be honest plain oatmeal is pretty boring but throw in some fresh fruit and 1/2 a tbsp of maple syrup and you’re sitting at a dinner thats under 150cal

- OATMEAL IS OVERALL SUPER NUTRITIOUS!!! it’s packed full of important nutrients such as powerful fiber good fats and protein

In my personal experience I have lost A TON of weight when I eat oatmeal and greek yogurt for dinner. I’ve had oatmeal for dinner for the last two nights and I’ve gone from 114lbs to 108lbs(keep in mind that this is probably mostly water weight not actually fat) but each morning I’ve been able to go and after I always weigh less then I expect so EAT OATMEAL IT IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF SAFE FOODS!!!!

ALSO sidenote you shouldn’t fear carbs from healthy foods because they’re actually good for you and will keep you full for longer, meaning you’ll need to eat less resulting in greater weight loss results
