Okay I watched season 2 a long while ago so I have no clue what was so bad about the finale??? I’m not disagreeing with you, I just must have blacked it out :l
Most of the finale was fine. It was just those lame ten seconds at the end of Miles and Alya dramatically running back to each other and kissing. Like, way to throw out all their second half of season 2 character development 🙄
i ship Aiden and Scarlett. But alya and miles relationship has always been meh, and when they got together at the end of season two I was jut rolling my eyes. I LOVE YOUR BLOG ❤️

Aidan and Scarlett are alright, but it’s just hard because Scarlett and Julie’s chemistry outshines all their other potential pairings

1. No2. I don’t watch it on Disney Channel, so I had no idea it wasn’t aired there this season (I watch on Netflix)3. Becoming a choreographer? More her and Beckett plots? Idk4. Of the canon ships: Vanessa and Beckett. Like it’s no contest. Their natural chemistry is amazing (s/o to the casting directors who obv had the actors do a chemistry read). The angst was a good kind of angst (vs the yikes™ Miles and Alya angst).
Of the non canon ships: Jax and Miles or Julie and Scarlett. The show is really wasting their natural chemistries…
Legit question....when exactly did Miles start to develop feelings for Alya? I mean Alya clearly had a crush on Miles from the beginning. But Miles was mostly just friendly (well when he wasn't messing up her poster.....) in the beginning of S1. When Alya thinks Miles likes her (but he was actually pursuing Julie) in 1x12 and she asks Miles out, he's basically like 'uh okay sure why not''. His reaction was more about liking the concept of another girl liking him, rather than showing him having feelings for Alya.
So like at what point does he actually develop feelings for Alya and not just the idea of her/them together? The second half of season 1 has Alya being a jerk (inflated ego from doing the opera) and Miles being annoyed with that, and then the whole jealous boyfriend thing (which has more to do with Miles's ego than feelings).
I guess I just don't see where the feelings came from on his end?

After what Miles said to her in episode 28 (regardless of where his anger was coming from), Alya with growth™ would’ve been over it completely. But instead they threw all of her end of s1 development out for that cliche ending……

Because for the most part, the show writes same sex “friendships” with more romantic chemistry and general depth than the canon heterosexual romance plots tbh
