#throwbacktoyesterday’s Duathlon race. This is not a medal for finishing the race but just for participation. The race was cancelled half-way due to CAT 1 ☹️ At least I did manage to start a bit of the second leg of Cycling before the storm hits. (If not, the bike would be there just for display only lol)This time round my Cycling skill was better than the previous race. But just when I see my improvement, shit happens and I cycled in the storm for half of the first round which was cancelled after that. (Yup, only managed to cycle 1 round) In overall, the experience was awesome! First time being at the starting line with so many elites 😱(where they disappear from my view within mins when the horns went off) Also had great experience riding in the storm and trying to beat the resistance. I believe everyone is a winner by being at the starting line of any race because you have won the battle with your mind of negativity (I can’t; I’m not ready) to be at the race.
