very specific Rosier (mainly Evan and Pandora) headcanons part 2!
can’t believe it’s been a year (and then some) since I’ve posted pt 1, my bad! but now I have MORE and I won’t stop.
1. Pandora is that one person many would assume has a very messy room full of little trinkets and magical objects laying around but in reality her room at home is clinically tidy;
2. Pandora doesn’t have favorite color she likes all of them from pastels to neons;
3. Pandora is very physical in her love language. She and Regulus hug on a daily basis in a way of greeting at breakfast (students don’t even try to understand how she had managed that), Barty gives her piggyback rides everywhere, and she is the only one who is allowed to touch Dorcas’s hair which she takes great pride in;
4. Evan doesn’t care about quidditch at all and only cares about broom racing (yes I will die on this hill. yes I will make parallels between broom racing and f1 every time);
5. Evan does get along with James the best. Somehow. It could’ve been Remus but their chocolate wars came into play;
6. You would not believe how territorial Pandora is when it comes to Evan. That was the topic she and Regulus actually bonded over. Both grew up with their siblings as their best friends and never cared to make more friends since they already had the best ones besides them. The second someone showed interest in Evan (and that was often since veela and all that) and asked him to be friends Pandora would throw a tantrum of gigantic proportions. It got better after their 3rd year but sometimes she would still do it just for shits and giggles. And don’t even start on how she reached when Barty asked Her permission to date Evan;
7. Pandora’s dream job is to be a curse breaker with an emphasis on working on wards and ways to create/destroy them;
8. She very much focused on getting into International Institution of Transformative Magical Arts after finishing hogwarts and to no one’s surprise she got in with the best score possible;
9. Pandora is way better at wandless magic (comes very much comes in handy for working on dismantling wards) than Evan and Evan is too good at wordless spell casting;
10. Rosier manor is located somewhere in Ajaccio but no one really knows where since it’s unplottable;
11. The twins often battle it out during the holidays: they don’t have to (and never had to) care about decree of underage sorcery since they don’t live in the UK and France has no such nonsense in place and the manor being unplottable helps too. Current score is 11:8 to Evan;
12. The way they fight during their duels is legendary: since Evan is great at wordless spells he casts tongue-tying curse the second they start and it pissed off Pandora to no end and she calls it cheating but Laverne (who oversees every duel) allows it, so there’s nothing she can do;
13. Evan’s dream job is to be a dragon tamer or at least that’s what he thought for a while before he learned of MAB (Magic and Biosphere) Program organized by International School of Magical Creation and Complex Essence based in Kyoto which treated the word ‘tamer’ as blasphemous since the program is focused on studying and protecting the dragons;
14. Evan had to basically rethink and restructure his magic including how to work his magical core and ways to use it since East Asian understanding of magic is completely different and very nature based;
15. He did get in (!) alongside 6 other scholars from all over the world and his entry examination included creating a dragon from a body of water and guiding it to create thunderstorm (one very impressed and flustered Barty went to kiss him silly once Evan was done);
16. The twins had concocted a very thorough plan on how to get their parents to accept them dating Barty and Lily. In essence in was easy: drop hints that the tide of wizarding world was changing and it’s better for their family’s reputation to be at the front lines of that change. At practice trying to outsmart Laverne Rosier was almost as impossible as it was to create philosopher stone;
17. In the end they won with the help from very unexpected force: one spring day Euphemia Potter with the grace of the goddess and force of wind sat down with Laverne during one of Wizengamot gatherings and whispered something in Rosier matriarch’s ear and the rest was history;
