Senior Paper is basically finished now yall!! just have the conclusion and some minor editing left to do and Im so done with it 😭😭 Ik I said I wanted to post the vday Grian POV this past Saturday but I honestly totally forgot about it… I don’t want to make more shallow promises but it should be posted this upcoming Saturday, as I’ll be on my Spring Break!!

wanted to post my vday AU Grian POV today but I’ve had a severe case of writers block the last two weeks.. I have so many ideas churning around in my head but when I go to sit down and write them it all just crumbles down and spurs into nothing

I do apologize for my hiatus in the last month or so, I promise I’m getting some stuff done but SWICSY really burned me out in the long run and writing my Senior Paper has not helped in the slightest. all my energy has been going towards it and it’s nowhere even near done 😭😭

I’ve been spending my free time either playing video games or reading more Scarian fics because before I was spending it solely writing. as much as I love writing, again, it’s been so soul sucking and draining recently. on top of all this, I’m playing in fan-made Life Series with my friends every week which in itself is draining

anyway I guess that’s my little spiel done. I hate leaving everyone in the dark but when it comes to my mental health, I feel like I need to be a tad bit more open and patient about it. hoping to get the vday Grian POV out next week, instead :))

TL;DR: I’m tired and burnt out but hoping to get back into the swing of things soon

little update bc I feel like I’ve been really quiet the last few weeks about my work besides a few little comments here and there, and just want to confirm: I’m not abandoning you guys I promise!!😭😭 I’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes, both in regards of my fic writing and life.

for my fic writing: I’m actively working on the epilogue for SWICSY, and hope to post it this Saturday! not even going to lie when I say this but I’ve rewritten it at least 3 times already, as I want it to be perfect for you and for myself. this fic is my baby and it doesn’t deserve a rushed ending. I’ve also been working on drafting and pre-writing my next on going fic — which won’t be posted for a while, sorry!

as for life in general, I’ve just been swamped with schoolwork and other typical things lmao. I’ve started working on my senior paper, which takes priority right now. after that’s done and tied off, I’ll have a bit more free time for a bit before I have to get ready for finals + graduation

I’ve rambled enough for one post, though. thank you if you read all of this and I’ll — hopefully— see you Saturday

Hey all! Been a while huh? Unfortunately life has not been too kind to me these past few months and so being able to create/socialize via social media hasn’t been possible. I’m going to do my absolute best to get back into my creative groove and shell out at LEAST some WIPS! :((

One thing I WAS able to make was decorating a floor plan @/VanillaWhalez made for her most recent fic “Stay Where I Can See You,” over on AO3! (It IS Scarian with stalker tendencies so if that’s NOT something you’re into, feel free to ignore that plug!)

side note: I love the little detail Scar has glow-in-the-dark stars on his ceiling. I could definitely picture him having them in adulthood after his parents refusing him the liberty of them in his childhood. it won’t be canon in this fic, however, it may be in my next on going fic that I’m still drafting and working on :)

Okay so there was some creative liberty I had to take specifically for Scar’s living room since I couldn’t figure out what that large block was in the center..therefore I’ve made a fireplace.

I also see Scar as the type to have a lot of statement pieces of furniture and not necessarily sticking to ONE specific color <3

as for the “big block” in the middle, I think you’re referring to Scar’s TV stand (?) or at least, that’s what i originally intended it to be. I do like the idea of him having a fireplace for cozy nights cuddling with Jellie, though! (also I totally picture him having orange, blue, and green accents scattered around his apartment :))
