Wearing a pencil skirt and a matching navy blazer covering her lithe frame, Danica Vogt, secretary to Minister @vladsobol, and with Ministry Guard in toe, makes her way from their home in Salma to @vanjavolkov offices in the Ministry Chambers.
She offers the man a sealed envelop containing a letter within. “His handwriting is that typical of a physician.” She says apologetically in tone and expression. “He wishes you to meet his cousin at the cafe in Rurikton. Minister Sobol believes she will make a superb secretary to you.”
Vanja’s assigned guard for the day, a one Cicero Genovese, tapped him on the shoulder when he heard the approaching footsteps just out in the hall. He jerked awake, momentarily disoriented as to his location. “Someone approaches, m’lord.” He said softly enough that his voice would not carry beyond their immediate space. “Oh good. Excellent. Thanks, ‘Ero.” He said and groaned before returning to the papers laid out on his desk. He made a stink face at them, began to stack them in order and was in the process of tap-tap-tapping when the lovely Danica stepped inside. “Ah! Secretary Vogt!” He stated with a smile, listening to her words as he accepted the letter. “…How’d he know I was—never mind.” Vanja wasted no time in breaking the seal to see exactly what she meant. His features screwed up before he laughed. “Between Cicero and I, I believe we can decipher the Sobol-scratch. Hopefully it won’t give us too much of a headache… As one tends to earn when trying to translate Lambardian, for example. Thank you for the delivery and quick rundown, Secretary Vogt. I'll give him my thanks in person at some point, I'm sure. And please," he gestures to wrapped chocolates likely left over from Halloween, "help yourself if you wish before you go."
