Nakamura: …It’s possible that Karamatsu doesn’t like who he really is inside. Maybe because he doesn’t believe that his true self is cool, he feels the need to act cool. In Episode 2, when the interviewer gets mad and startles Karamatsu, I didn’t receive any specific instruction. I just did it that way as an experiment and got an OK (from the director), further convincing me that he is a two-sided character.
