however, disney hasn’t done SHIT to try and force everybody to view hux as straight. no love interests, no weird obsessions with some female character, no even passing mentions of him entertaining the notion. and since this is disney we’re talking about, that might as well be a canonical confirmation that hux is gay.

Disney wrote Hux as gay but like a Hayes Code gay. Like a ripped-him-straight-out-of-a-Hitchcock-movie gay. Like he’s a censorship-approved-queer-villain gay. If they’d given him one scene with Rey I’m certain he would have had one of those jealous fits the ‘30’s characters always do.
