Crying and confused about my next move

Is it life in my future or just doom?

Maybe being complacent is what I was meant to do

Fear destroys dreams before they come true

I try so hard to follow my heart

The more I follow it the more it falls apart

Wasting wishes on these shooting stars

Neglecting the journey between the end and the start

27 years, 6 months, 3 days and I'm still stuck

A gift of life and I hardly use it much

Living in the same house where I grew up

I'll be here when the foundation turns to dust

When will bravery take my hand?

When will change be part of my plan?

I deserve to live, this is my only chance

To make a story I can tell death in our final dance

What inspires you to write and what is one of your favorite pieces you've ever created?

I can't say that I know what inspires me. I made a habit to create some sort of art everyday if possible. I think that now it has turned into a natural coping skill for problems in my life. The art almost seems to create itself sometimes. You help it to learn how to walk, then you have to keep up with it when it is ready to run.
