Seeing Peter Parker turn into an actual spider cryptid in the new movie has got me feeling like

The cocooning, the organic webs, the pitch black eyes, the insane hearing range, and the talks of a spider’s lifecycles; Peter is literally shedding into a new, stronger form of himself, much like baby tarantulas do when becoming adults and embracing all of their natural gifts, a transformation from prey to predator. Hell, notice how the webs he builds are tarantula webs. I am IN LOVE with the more spider Spiderman.
