I am so sorry I am putting this here in tumblr. This is my fuckass yume ship. I just wanted to post it here with a note about how I’ve been increasingly disillusioned with my indie project, it makes me sad how hard I work on it for little to no recognition. I’m taking a break from it for sure, as I re-evaluate what I even want from it because I’m on the edge of giving up completely. In the meantime I re-discovered self indulgent slop and have been painting stupid fuckass shit again. Ivan has been my muse for god knows how many years and I care him deeply. so as cringe as it is, this brought me joy.

When reading on cultural relations certain nations may have with their "parent" nation, I feel that there's a low-key interesting and unexplored aspect to Alfred/Kiku in that both were deemed as derivative, inferior, cultural backwaters by their "older brothers." Obviously there are/were different historical dynamics/feelings at play, but it's an interesting sorta-parallel to consider.

Honestly, there's a lot of interesting comparisons/contrasts between all the different Hetalia "families."

Here she is!! She doesn’t exactly have WTTT origins but I love her nonetheless, plus WTTT North Carolina’s usual outfit doesn’t speak to me.

Context: I’m also in the Hetalia fandom and she was my North Carolina OC that I made back in 2020. I redesigned her earlier this year as part of a Statetalia role-play I was in. I also have Colorado, Virginia and California Statetalia designs that I might post as well.
