     Time was, despite all your effort, running out. You’ve been this way & that way, searching every inch of Hoenn you possibly could. And yet, no matter how many rocks you’ve overturned, you just couldn’t find your cousin. Sure, there were a handful of people who have seen the scrappy boy pass by ─ some who, much to your internal delight, stated he had parted their company not ‘fore giving their teams a swift thrashing. Alas, all they could do is suggest where they believed Caleb to be going, for he not once spoke to them. (of course he wouldn’t ─ he couldn’t) It’s disheartening to hear, and yet at the same time all it does is renew your resolve to find the boy. 

     Three days ought to be all you need to finish scouring the region ─ right?

(youhavethatspark) There was QUITE a commotion coming from the route where the moomoo farm was.. There was crash and people screamed, the Milktank were stampeding! "mate get outta the way!"sparks hand shot out grabbing him by the collar pulling him back as the milktank literally rolled by making quite a racket.

     You’ve been this way before. You’ve been up & down this route so many times when you were younger. It was no surprise that there was a Miltank farm ‘round the bend ─ no, you were well aware it was there. So why did it catch you off guard? What had you stand so curiously stupefied at the sight of oncoming & stampeding Miltank? Probably just that; it was Miltank. The most docile of Pokémon that you could think of, that the mere sight of it almost has you ‘neath a good number of hooves. Almost ─ for it seems you finally have some shred of luck in your life when you’re dragged from their rampage by the collar of your coat.

        “  Christ. This is exactly why I moved to the city.  “

     A pause entails; a frown to pull at lips e’er briefly before the line disappears with a quizzical furrow of your brow. Yes, indeed; it was a sight of sorts, to be sure ─ but what drags your attention to the now is whom kept you from obtaining more broken bones than you needed. You could easily list a handful of others  hat would pay to leave you where you stood. How curious of an occurrence for you to be saved another embarrassing injury. (and in this case, several)

She slammed her hands on the table, the rope burn still fresh on her wrists, she looks angry but has tears running down her face. Quickly she sits back down, looking away from the ‘suit’.

“I had to run away because I was scared to die too.. I had to leave so  much behind in that fucking place but it doesn’t matter. If this ends up  getting my killed so be it. I would rather be dead than live knowing that  she died instead of me.”

     There were a lot of reasons why you eventually grew to hate your job. Well, the pay wasn’t worth it, for starters. (as if to say what you originally planned on being as a hot-blooded teen would pay better) People didn’t trust cops, for the second reason. (not that you blamed them; cops had rules to follow & couldn’t just jump into action whenever they pleased) Circling back on that last reason, the protocols you had to follow before you could do anything were absolutely ridiculous & counterproductive at best. To put it simply, you were typically in a rock & hard place when dealing with people. Victims and criminals alike.

     Again, forgoing sensitivity in favour of firing off that mouth of yours. No wonder you were often stuck indoors & so rarely on the field. Surely she’s well aware of how she sounds ─ she needs not you to remind her. Oh, you’re never the right person to talk to. Never one to be gentle & understanding of one’s feelings. It suited you ill to be here & trying to get more out of her, but... Here you were anyway. Trying, albeit forcefully, to do something right.
