Be the Hero! Mythic Mortals is a tabletop Role-playing game where you play as yourself, suddenly granted the unstable powers of Ancient Heroes! Switch between the bow of Diana, the hammer of Thor, and the sword of Leonidas to fight against the evil threatening your home town. If you can learn to control your wild new powers, then you will be the hero!

Stretch Goals The campaign will start in mid October. Some of the stretch goals for my campaign include expanded artwork. I was wondering if you would be interested in providing some of that artwork IF we reach that stretch goal. I don’t expect any work, contract, or agreement until AFTER the stretch goal is reached and the project funded.

Tone/Setting The tone of the game is over-the-top combat akin to Avengers or 300. The game is all about normal people suddenly granted incredible powers to fight off ancient monsters. Imagine your neighbor clad in spectral armor fighting a Minotaur in your back yard. With her huge hammer, your roommate fights off the griffin that busted through your ceiling. The goal is normal, flawed, imperfect people wielding ancient weapons and abilities. Short, tall, disabled, old, young, and all the colors of the rainbow.

Hey all -

(my blog is still technically inactive BUT wanted to boost this)

I’ve probably still got some reach to artists out there so if you’re looking for some work I can absolutely vouch for this guy being fair, communicative, and respectful. I know him personally and have worked on a few projects with him and he’s always been patient and more than reasonable.

He’s put a lot of work into this game (and has made it free to play on his site if you want to read for flavor/mechanics) and it shows because it’s fun and runs smoothly. It would be awesome if this game got some neat artwork for everyone to enjoy -- and if one of y’all got paid to do it.

Hey followers! I've had to do some introspection lately, and I've determined that, unfortunately, Tumblr is not a constructive environment for me anymore. So I feel the time has come for me to take my leave. I'm going to make a new blog on another platform and that'll be my official last post; it'll be dedicated more to video game development, which I'll be spending as much time on as I can afford. I'll still be on Skype ofc, and if don't have it and if you don't have that you're welcome to ask for it. It's been fun, I wish everyone the best.
