Please tell me I’m not the only one who noticed the similar outfits and palettes three different non-human guys end up in when disguised as humans. 

I wonder if Strickler and the real Bernard got their turtlenecks at the same store.

The colors here play a huge role in the disguise.

Brown - This somewhat plain color is associated with a few concepts, like nature and health, but also among them are dependability, simplicity and straight-forwardness.

Blue - This lovely color is often associated with calm and tranquil emotions, but also loyalty and truthfulness.

So basically, this outfit says: “Don’t worry! Nothing to see here, just a totally normal human-person-man! On your way now!”

Guillermo del Toro is known for cleverly using shapes, lighting, and colors to depict the mood of a character/scene, and to send hidden messages to the audience. He also happened to work on Megamind and Trollhunters, so this is probably his go-to outfit for nonhumans in disguise at least in part for the reasons above.

After this week’s episodes of Star vs The Forces of Evil

this show is killing me.

Moon has never stated she trusted Eclipsa. Infact, she clearly stated she didn’t when she left with River. 

She was completely complicit in the yurt people’s hatred of Eclipsa and monsters.

No wonder Moon never mentioned ANYTHING about Mina’s plans to Star, she was working with her the entire time.

This betrayal was inevitable, it’s not bad writing if you were actually paying attention to the story instead of ships.

Also I guess Glossaryck is magic incarnate i.e. fucking god as we all knew already.

Eclipsa refused to call Solaria “Mom” in any way until she made it clear to Janna.

TOM INDEED WAS LEFT IN THE MAGIC DIMENSION AND LOOKS CORRUPTED BY MAGIC BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SUN CHEEK MARKS ON HIM P L E A S E (The Star *Butterfly*, The Moon *Marco’s cheek marks*, and The Sun *Tom’s cheek marks if possible*)
