just in case anyone needs convincing about jujutsu kaisen and bc i desperately needed an excuse to gush about it….. it’s the perfect midpoint between bleach, naruto and ao no exorcist. the plot and setting are typical shounen battle-manga fare and the pacing so far has been pretty damn rushed but it’s got some creative body horror-y creature designs, the main big bad conflict is super compelling (body sharing with the main protag, always interesting to explore) and it’s got adults who like.. actually care??

about the kids they’re training????

and try to protect protect them from the worst of it as best they can??????

how is this still a novelty????????????????

most importantly though in under 30 chapters the characters have wormed their ways deep into my heart, never to leave. we got my newest son, it’s too late, the adoption papers have already gone through, he is now under my protection
