Summary:

Wolfwood's body was heavier than Vash expected. *That's because he was so full of mercy at the end.* The thought came unbidden, renewing his grief all over again. He choked back a sob as he hooked his arms under Wolfwood's arms and dragged him away from the horrible, blood-soaked couch. He couldn't stand to look at it anymore. The thing should be burned, actually. Wolfwood's limp legs carved deep trenches in the sand as Vash dragged him away.

Summary:

"Blondie, you don't know what you do to me," Wolfwood said against his lips. He punctuated the words with a roll of his hips, pressing his very obvious erection into Vash with a groan. Despite his best efforts, Vash's whole body tensed as soon as he felt the hard intrusion against his hip. Not now, he begged himself. Please not now. But the nausea rose anyway, dousing the flame in his belly as if a bucket of cold water had been dumped over his head. Or - Vash and Wolfwood finally act on their feelings, but Vash's trauma gets in the way.

The party started early, when most of the other townsfolk were still sleeping or having breakfast. The bar was nearly empty when he walked in, with only a couple of tables taken up by last night's drunks. How lucky that they'd stopped in a town with a bar that never closed. Or - Vash goes on a bender on his birthday to escape the memory of July. It goes about as well as you would expect.
