Ten-years of FYYCA contest/giveaway: Battle of the Archetypes, 2023-edition
It’s been a while (over 8 years in fact): So, in honor of the 10-year anniversary in October and rather belated 20K followers, it’s time for a contest/giveaway as follows:
1. Send in your top 3 favorite archetypes to the Inbox via Ask or direct message (ideally in terms of art, but I can’t stop you if you choose for other reasons).
2. IMPORTANT: List them in order with #1, 2, and 3 in order from first to third favorite. You can pick less than 3, but still list the order. If you do not (and I am unable to hear back from you), I’ll assume it’s in descending order. Votes will be weighted (with 5 points for first place, 3 for second, and 1 for third).
3. Voting will go on until January 31st at 11:59 pm EST, with the results announced the following week (and likely there will be a card posted from each of the top three vote getters).
4. Please vote only once.
5. Anonymous votes will not be counted.
6. You must be following for your vote to count.
Lastly, as far as the giveaway, one voter will be picked at random and will receive a collection of various cards posted over the past ten years of the blog of various significance (either ones among the higher notes totals and/or personal favorites). We’ll reveal the full list of cards over the coming weeks, but the main ones to announce so far are the top three posts to-date ( Change of Heart, Toon World, and Dark Magician Girl [this art] and a set of the three Kazuki Takahashi Egyptian God Card arts (here, here, and here). There will also be two runners-up, whom will receive a copy of Change of Heart as well.
This is part of the reason for avoiding Anonymous votes, both for purposes of voting for the contest and for being able to get back to you about the cards. If you do win, obviously you’ll need to be willing to provide an address to send the cards to; however, if you are not interested in the cards / are not willing to share the address, you can still certainly vote in the contest.
I’ll update more next week about some of the other cards being chosen but that should be the main stuff so far.
