𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐋.  a french monologue.  lonely days in the mountains.   heavy fabrics.   a sober choice of colors.  leather and wool.  snowy landscapes.  heavy jewelry.   boots made for the snow.   a ribbon keeping your hairlocks together.  a classic yet daring feel of modernity. wooden cracking under your feet.   a coat so long it touches the ground.  the wind whispering on your ears.   a standing ovation at the end of a brilliant act.

𝐌𝐈𝐔 𝐌𝐈𝐔.   the boredom of winter days.   a dramatic, orchestral overture. strawberries under the winter sun.   black fabric on dead-white skin. the melodramatic quietude of a funeral.   military pattern.   fierce shoes.   drastic mood lifts and drops.  stopping in the middle of the sidewalk to watch tv on a showcase.   flowers embroidered to your clothes. the sound of a record spinning.

𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐎.   statues kissing in a cold, eternal embrace.   flowers in bloom. the way your skirt dances to the wind. sticking to the most obvious choice, to safety. silk.   poetry written on a wall. a smile on the corner of your lips.   wearing your pain proudly.  spoken poetry. finding softness in hard times.

𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐎.   dollar bills.   liking the days you spent in vegas, but loving the nights.   big, full hair. embracing your own ambition.  excessive jewelry.   believing the lies television tells you.   the laugh track on a tv show.   clothes that shine against the lights of the city.

𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐑.   listening to jazz first thing in the morning.   wearing dresses with boots.   hiding your eyes behind a hat.  a moody youth.   songs that remind you of how strong you are. pearl necklaces.   walking the streets with confidence.   pleated skirts.   being in charge of your life, at last.
