I deleted my old post after seeing this.
After all 2 questions were answered, so it didnt made sense to keep it while others were just me questioning the plot.
I still feel it was a very cruel ending for Jax. I am also glad the whole "calling Jax she, even tho he was still closed and how open the ending was" was addressed. This was something that was also bothering me. Even me, being NB, was lost how to addressed it.
But i gotta say, i a very relieved to know i was not wrong when I was the ending and felt it was meant to be subtle and open for the Fans. The transfem story was so clear, and even tho I was happy and liked the canon confirmation, I had this nagging feeling of "But then why it feels is also open to interpretation? How should we direct ourselves to Jax? How about all the fans that related to him as a femboy, transmasc or genderfluid (like I did?) Can we still respect Goose's vision and Jax's storyand still have this conection?"
This might sound silly, but it felt like many would have to mourn the very good conection to Jax and the show, and I didnt know how to feel.
Now, i am releived to know it wasn't completely right.
I mean, i still feel many are mourning the show itself. Not because they disagree with the ending or bc Jax "died" (Lord, knowing abstraction isnt exactly death helps), but mourn the promises the show made.
I still have issues with the finale and many story point questions that I think it should've be addressed, and I still feel hollow with the show overall, even if I accept and respect all the choice Goose made. Like, did Scratch forgot he made a brain scanner? Who did they get in there anyway, specially considering Gangle was in the hospital? (Did the staff put it in her?), why did the circus worked as a child game? Why couldn't they swear? Did episode 7 had to happened that way?
There are too many elements, story and lore elements that makes the whole experience feel hollow. Not unsatisfied or bad. But meaningless. Many choices makes the experience meaningless
But i guess that is what happen when you make a show that makes one one the most creative and artistic driven fandoms i had ever seen. No matter how well you do, the Fandom is still the best part. And if the show doesn't allow the Fandom to keep growing and being the way it is, then what is the point, You know?
I guess in the end, i never really loved the show, i loved that allowed us to have any interpretation and read, and it allowed many to be extremely creative. And i guess i am finally accepting it
I won't be part of the Fandom anymore, since i feel after everything that happened before the finale, this place doesnt feel welcomed anymore. But maybe in the future I can explore this show again. Or not. I dont care that much. Just glad after reading a few post here and there, I can put the final nails in this coffin. I can rest easy knowing what i know and knowing people will still be happy doing the art they want and having the interpretation and answering all the questions the show had by themselves.
So yeah. I am finally done
