“The Veinguard Arum” / “The Martyr’s Rose”

Synopsis and Trigger Warnings

The Veinguard Arum is a sci-fi horror story, inspired by the film “ALIEN”/“ALIEN: Covenant”, video games “Dead Space” and “The Last of Us”, where the aliens are Cordyceps fungus on steroids basically.

It is the first novella in the Veinguard series.

The Martyr’s Rose is a sci-fi horror dark romance story, with slight Hades/Persephone theming, where the love interest is a zombie reptile plant and both parties are obsessed with each other.

It is the second novella in the Veinguard series.

And I can't help but picture it with AM and my sona for yumeshipping, and it makes the whole dynamic the most yearning type shit ever in the most toxic ass way possible and I love it.

If I may on the whole "AM fan body design" thing

Imagine this;

Take the popular bird design, specifically the head

And have that fucker's face open up like a Demogorgon or Death Angel to reveal his "eye", to reference the Czech comic cover design, but more like the Fabrication Machine

Give him the most uncanny valley ribcage torso made from buildings, machinery with too many wires and arms just trying to replicate a "human body."

And inside his torso the HATE pillar cuz that's the only thing strong enough to hold up THAT failed attempt of a body he made, cuz there's no cables or wires strong enough to keep it suspended indefinitely.

Have him light up like a god damn Christmas tree, lil strips of LEDs, and colors coordinating with his lil drama selves (Ego, Superego, ID)

Have him be the all imposing God that he is.

Read the tags carefully before reading a fanfic.

If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.

Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.

Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.

No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.

This is still my favorite piece I’ve ever made. I adore my lil fungus, Arum and ALL their mental issues. I made this several months ago, but I didn’t post it here on tumblr for a while. Mainly cuz I am protective of them and this project I’m working on, but I’m not gonna get any support for it if I don’t share it quq.

But yea, they’re the main antagonist of my novella “The Veinguard Arum.” I can’t wait to when I can fully share them to the world and their story.

I would like to share that I have an author account on Bluesky for my novella series I'm working on called "The Veinguard Arum" and "The Martyr Rose"

The Veinguard Arum is a sci-fi horror novella, while The Martyr Rose is a sci-fi horror and dark romance novella. Both series involve body horror, gore, mutilation, death, mental deterioration, trauma, co-dependency, and desperation. Martyr Rose specifically has teratophilia and technically necrophilia (zombie plant).

I will update and make an official trigger list of everything when I get close to finishing them. These are just the topics I know for sure are going to be included.

Here's a small snippet of the species sheet for my lil fungi aliens. I would like to hire an editor to properly get this polished up and more coherent sounding.
