Medusa shrugged. Â âIf you wish to remain on their leash, go ahead, but they are not going to let you do what you want to do.â
She looked back at him, smirking.  âThey arenât here, they wonât know if you experiment some, try out your own power.  If nothing else, you could prove them wrong, and gain valuable knowledge.â  Or he could prove them right and destroy the fools.  It was a pity she wouldnât be able to watch that, assuming they would eventually be returned to their own worlds.
She would have to keep an eye on him in the city, though. Â It would be highly amusing to see what came of his break down.
If he wished to remain on their leash? That phrase alone made Anakinâs frown darken. He wasnât on anyoneâs leash⊠the Jedi Council ultimately could not control him, when it came down to things! At least, that was what heâd have liked to think, but seeing how the Council had dealt with Ahsoka being framed, unjustly deciding her fate before the court case had even begunâŠ
simply the thought of it was enough to make his blood boil. Who knew what they would do next?
âActually, another Jedi has been taken by the scientists⊠but he is trustworthy.â
He steeled himself, recalling his training. ââŠAs tempting as experimenting seems, Iâm afraid I must remain loyal to the code.â After all, although he liked where Medusa had been going, Anakin firmly reminded himself that she was still only a witch.. twisting words seemed to be their strong point. He couldnât let himself trust her too easily.
âThank you, though, for your advice. I will take it under consideration.â
Medusa nodded. Â "Very well, it was merely a suggestion." Â She smiled at him, an outwardly friendly gesture. Â "If you do decide to slip your collar for a bit, let me know how it goes. Â I am curious about this Force of yours."
