Inconsistent comparison fallacy – different methods of comparison are used, leaving a false impression of the whole comparison.
Cherry picking (suppressed evidence, incomplete evidence) fallacy – act of pointing at individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position, while ignoring a significant portion of related cases or data that may contradict that position.
Base rate fallacy – making a probability judgment based on conditional probabilities, without taking into account the effect of prior probabilities.
