Please help two disabled transfems secure housing.
I hate to have to ask for help again so soon, but the current housing situation we are in is unsafe and unstable and we need to move again.
Our roommates have subjected me and my wife to constant transmisogynistic harassment for the past year. We've been effectively denied access to the kitchen and much of the rest of the house, and have spent most of that time confined to our bedroom.
My friends and I are trying to find a new place to live, but saving for moving costs has been nearly impossible. I'm disabled, work part-time, and am the primary breadwinner for my family. Recently my hours were cut, and between rent, my own medical expenses, and almost-weekly vet visits for our cat, every dollar I've managed to save has disappeared.
Both my wife and I are abuse survivors, and this situation has become impossible for us to manage alone. We're trying to raise $1,500 to cover the costs of securing a new lease for four people and finally get somewhere safe.
