Tragedy struck a Canadian pig barn Monday night when a raging fire engulfed it, killing thousands of pigs. 

One can only imagine the terror and suffering these animals experienced as the flames worked their way through the barn.  But even without fires, life is hell on earth for pigs on factory farms. I can’t imagine being trapped in a cage in a burning building and unable to try to get away on fire. Awful.
