Switched
Kagome doesnât know how she ended up in the Sengoku period, why everyone keeps calling her Kikyo, or who Lord Sesshomaru is but she certainly didnât agree to marry him.
(A canon divergent AU where Touga lived and attempts to unify demons and humans through the marriage of his eldest son to the Shikon Miko.)

Miyazaki-style Dramione đ
My eternal inspiration is the cartoons of maestro Hayao Miyazaki. And I decided to put Draco and Hermione in the fabulous atmosphere of summerâïž
i couldn't stop thinking about zutara with this audio so i went ahead and made a short animatic (based on their cave scene in book 2!)
idk how it turned out bc i made this as a brainrot-fueled machine who just wanted to materialize her visions but.. i hope you enjoy (eng cc available!)

âExpecto Patronumâ
Something in the deep recesses of her mind, something burrowed in her chest, wasnât in the least bit surprised when her little otter didnât sprout from the tip of her wand.
Something instinctual, primitiveâŠhummed at the sight of her new patronus.
Hermione clasped a hand to her mouth to muffle her squeak of shockâŠas the blue, ethereal wisp of magic curled around her in the shape of a dragon.
A quick comic based on this post by @gemgirl28Â
Today I am thinking about how we were robbed of getting to see Suki, Katara, and Toph sneak into and enjoy a fancy day spa on Ember Island. Just imagining them chilling in hot springs, Suki and Katara gossiping about boys before Katara is like âgross, thatâs my brotherâ and Toph is like âgross, boy talkâ so they switch to talking about their favorite combat moves but not before Suki gets Katara to admit she has feelings for Zuko and Toph teases her for it.

I recently got a quasi-promotion at work and while this translated into even less time for writing/sleeping/(tea)drinking, it also gifted me with the opportunity to commission the wondrous @lotustiled. (If you're unfamiliar with her work - heathen! - click on her tumblr immediately. Like, right now. Immediately.)
I'm happy about so many things in this piece: Katara's hair, Zuko's wtf expression, the loss of tea, Katara's hair, the adorable nose scrunch of tiredness. This is a small, silly, and (to me) lovable glimpse into the pair's friendship in Tempest.
(Also, it further emphasizes the fact that Katara basically spent the two years cramming for a testâŠwhich turned out to be a twelve-year old with a magic flying cow. ÂŻ\_(âŁÌŻÌâŁÌ)_/ÂŻ )
treated myself today! with some self-indulgent doodles of zutara in their 20s of course
SHADOW AND BONE 1.03 | THE MAKING AT THE HEART OF THE WORLD
@zutaramonth day 27: Tea Shop
â
âWhy did you decide to retire here, sir? Why not closer to Zuko?â
This had been bothering Katara for months, especially since Zuko and Maiâs break-up. Zuko was lonely. He had made loyal friends and allies in his court, but his letters were still wistful and taciturn. Knowing this, Katara had jumped on the opportunity of representing her family in King Kueiâs wedding, knowing that Zuko would be there, but her anxiety hadnât receded. She still hadnât gotten to see him. Heâd been in the Royal Palace for hours in a meeting of heads of state.
Katara had come to wait for him at the Jasmine Dragon, and that was where sheâd stubbornly stayed. The tea shop had long closed for the day, but old General Iroh was still kind enough to sit with her for a cup of tea before performing all of the closing duties, and was now pondering her question with the gravity it deserved.
âAn old man has his dreams too,â he said after a long pause. âMy nephew has his own path to follow, and he wonât think on his own if he expects me to do all the thinking for him. Unfortunately,â the man went on with a sigh, âthat old habit seems to come back whenever Iâm around.â
Katara shook her head. This wasnât about the Fire Nation, or honor, or anything royals and nobles concerned themselves with.
âI think he really needs you.â
When the old man put down his cup of tea, Katara was surprised to discover that he was smiling.
âDo you wish for your father to be with you all the time, Katara?â
She wanted to say yes, of course she would, but the words got stuck in her throat. After having so much responsibility thrust upon her, after seeing so much of the world, going back to the role of a daughter hadnât been as much of a relief as sheâd thought it would. Her father had been glad to make up for lost time, but Katara wasnât the little girl heâd left behind. His form of support, while welcome, wasnât always what she needed. Katara sometimes felt they got along better the more distance there was between them.
âNo, I suppose not,â she conceded, and decided to drop it. If General Iroh understood her point, he was deliberately avoiding it. Zuko himself never acted sad or resentful over his uncleâs choices, so anything else she could say would be overstepping.
âMy nephew would be a fool if he let you go. You could make each other very happy.â
Katara choked on her tea, coughing furiously and feeling her face grow hot. Where did that come from, now? Had her true feelings been so obvious? It wasnât like she tried to conceal them, not particularly. Zuko was her friend, and deserving of affection. But having the truth so plainly out in the open was a whole new level of terrifying.
âItâs not-I mean, sir, Zuko⊠your nephew⊠heâs, well, great, and all, butâŠâ
The door to the tea shop opened. Zuko stood there in his full royal garb, and Katara could do nothing but stare, her mouth still open from the sentences sheâd struggled to get out. It had only been a few months, but his hair had grown longer, his posture more confident. He embodied his role as the Fire Lord with a naturality that astounded her. As focused on him as she was, it was hard to miss the precise moment in which he noticed her. Zukoâs face lit up so vividly that Kataraâs heart melted, her senses tingling, and he walked toward herÂ
âKatara! Itâs so good to see you.â
Anything she could have said was lost in his embrace. She just held him tight, hoping this gesture would get the right amount of feeling across. Had she dared to open her mouth, Katara would have had no chance of convincing General Iroh of her indifference.
âWhen did you get to Ba Sing Se?â Zuko was asking her, searching her face for answers to questions he wouldnât voice. âItâs a long trip for you. Shouldnât you be resting?â
âNo, Iâm fine. Got here this morning, got plenty of rest. I⊠I just came here to see you.â Wanting to gloss over after what sheâd just said, she gestured toward the empty cups. âWe were talking over tea.â
âRight,â he said with a smile. âLet me get that.â
âNo, no.â General Iroh got up from his seat, cup in hand. âYou sit down and rest, Fire Lord Zuko. Iâll get back to work.â
âUncle, I-â
âIf you want to make yourself useful, please walk Katara to her apartment when she wishes to go. Even in the Inner Ring, a lady cannot be too careful.â
As General Iroh walked away, Katara and Zuko exchanged a glance. His cheeks were red, his expression mortified, and his eyes jumped away from hers as if they burned.
Kataraâs stomach clenched. Zuko knew exactly what his uncle was up to, and they were not going to see the end of it until the old man got his way.
