I dislike the phrase ‘Internet friends,’ because it implies that people you know online aren’t really your friends, that somehow the friendship is less real or meaningful to you because it happens through Skype or text messages. But of course these people aren't working "hard enough" and don't deserve a roof over their head for that reason. Any working person should have a home, food, and healthcare at the very least. Does that sound a but communist? Well hell I don't care. I believe in freedom, but I also believe in human rights and workers rights. The state has a responsibility to people like this.
