Bio
Harumi never knew how to behave, even when she lived in the safety of the forest with her mother and the other Jorōgumo. She craved adventure and would often wander into the Human's village in the guise of an ordinary child. One morning, her mask slipped and her true nature was revealed. She nearly died at the hands of Hunters as they'd repeatedly stabbed her close to her heart. If her mother, Airi hadn't intervened it was likely she would have met an unfortunate end. She had to feed on more animals and unsuspecting Mortals to heal-- however, she was left with emotional trauma. Years later, Harumi learned the ways of her species. She seduced men and women alike, only to ensnare them in her web and brutally attack them. She soon learned that she preferred to toy with Witches and Warlocks more than other Mortals. The thrill of the hunt always satisfied her whenever a Witch appeared; she didn't even have to feed on them or drain their powers. It gave her great pleasure to watch people desperately escape. One spring morning, she crossed paths with an experienced Warlock. The Jorōgumo let her guard down, convincing herself that she wouldn't need to exert much energy fighting the man. She'd underestimated him, and fell victim to a fire spell. The flames licked away at her body, weakening her as she tried to extinguish them. Her mother had to step in, and sink her fangs into the Warlock's shoulder before coming to Harumi's aid. That experience alone cemented her hatred for spell casters. It took her nearly a week to heal her singed body, and even then she was left with scars. Harumi's allies and Airi planned on moving deeper into the forest, further from the Mortals, but the youngest Spider Yokai refused to leave with them. Against her mother's wishes, she stayed where she had grown up. Hunting had become increasingly difficult since the people were catching on, but she somehow survived. As of late, she wanders the town in Human form to gather intel on her enemies. She landed a job as a florist and slowly became enamored with the Human world.
