Oh my god restarting my blog was a mistake.

I came back to it bc one of the ppl I was p involved w plotwise was rly distraught over my character's "Death" (We had discussed beforehand that while I'm on HIATUS the character in question is just gonna be incapacitated for a while) and so I thought "Ok, my schedule's gonna be less packed bc I'm gonna be out of school and stuff, why not end the HIATUS now?"

Well 3 days in, and already it's become the center of a plotline, and the other character is just being possessive as shit over it. I never explicitly said this wasn't ok, but I never really said it was either. And I don't mean "Oh no please keep yourself safe character, you've been presumed dead for a while and I don't want anything happening to you" No. Straight up just "I'm gonna lock you in a tower rapunzel style and go on an insane downward spiral when you don't like that" Like dude??? I get that you wanna progress a plot but you gotta tell me these kinds of things first???

I think the most frustrating part about all this to me is that we don't like being the center of attention like 90% of the time. Yeah sure I like writing characters that help progress the plot, but I don't like it when I have a character that decides the entire plotline esp w/o any warnings. I usually write like side characters, and at most seconds in command, but especially in someone else's storyline, I just don't wanna have that kind of responsibility. (Sidenote: I would've been completely fine with all this if like. the mod actually discussed half of this with me earlier, bc now it just feels like I'm being forced into some box of a character that the other mod already decided)

I have since told the other mod like "Hey, can my character not be the center of attention here? We're too deep into the plot than I'm comfortable with" (esp bc I as the mod, out of character, am being dragged in) and they said it was fine. Which is good! I'm glad! But then they started vagueposting the shit out of the conversation and didn't actually change anything so. Yeah.

I am this close to just ending the blog right now no warning. The only thing keeping me right now is the hope that just maybe the mod will finish up their arc quickly so that I'm not suddenly pulling the plug on someone else's story

I think the only thing to do is ignore the vague posting and maybe try to end your character’s plot line but idk i haven’t been in any kind of similar situation

I normally wouldn’t do this kinda stuff but I just feel like I don’t have anywhere else really to go

I’ve had a relationship for over 5 years with my best friend and now partner, and they’ve gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life, due to recent stuff however I’ve realised that they don’t treat me very well, they overstep my boundaries quite a bit, use my interests to hurt me and are just really disrespectful to me recently over online drama involving the amazing digital circus (yes strange I know) but a few weeks ago we had a large argument over it and they ghosted me all day, and said that they got their phone taken away and were forced to go to the doctor (which I’m starting to have a hard time believing with how fast they insisted we go back to normal).

but anyway the only thing I asked of them was to take a break from the internet and to be respectful of said boundaries, and they didn’t do that. And when I confronted them about it recently they said I not only ruined their whole day but also said it was unfair that I wasn’t on break with them. Which kinda defeated the whole purpose of it, and when I said as much they said that that had been bothering them for days

they constantly 180 on stuff and it can be incredibly frustrating. They have BPD which I understand but they don’t handle it in a healthy way and often lash out at me emotionally. But I’m honestly scared of having to break up or confront them again when they didn’t listen or respect what I asked before. I love this person but I genuinely can’t see this relationship going anywhere further if they keep doing this to me. But also because I’m the only person my partner has really, they’ve told me over and over how their scared of loosing me and get really upset when I don’t text them back even when I’m doing something

I just don’t know what to do, if you have any advice I’ll happily take it. Have a good day and thank you

I don’t know if my advice will do much (ive not been in a relationship before) but the only thing I can think of is simply if this is weighing on you like it seems that it is it’s good to step away even if you simply decide to say to them “I need to take a week away from this for myself to see if I this is right for me”

I'm so fucking tired of people disrespecting my damn boundaries, in and out of character.

Thankfully, this only applies to one blog: My main officalverse blog. I intentionally don't do like mass pings and stuff that I've seen others do bc 1: I don't like bothering ppl for no good reason other than to advertise and 2: I don't wanna be like big famous. I just wanna be a niche little creator that maybe 2 ppl look at. Ik it's more than that now, but my point is I don't wanna get constantly hounded by like 300 followers iykwim

The main issue rn for me is just the fact that nobody seems to respect when I say "Sorry, I don't have the time for this rn" or "Sorry, I don't wanna pursue this". This is mostly bc I'm in a group where a buncho ppl are doing ARG's. Don't get me wrong, I think that's cool as hell! I'm really glad that they're able to make these kinds of mazes w unique storylines, and as long as they're happy and it's not hurting ppl OOC, then I'm glad for them

The problem arises when they constantly ping me or dm me asking if I worked on smth or to give an in-depth review of their characters. I understand that yeah, feedback is great and is really helpful as a writer, but I don't really have the time nor energy for that all the time. ESPECIALLY when these kinds of conversations happen seemingly every day and several times a day. I'm happy to support the ppl I write with, but I can't just drop my entire life just to analyze a character. That's not fair to me.

The other issue is that some of them have a very specific idea of what they want their RP's to look like. I don't mind working around a few plot points, but when it gets to the point of forcing a specific event on someone that clearly doesn't want it, that's where I have issues. Specifically, we had an incident not too long ago where we were gonna "driving in my car right after a beer" a character for a bit.

Now, I'll admit. This was somewhat of my idea after we fleshed out some details, but to me, this kind of bit is only funny when it happens ONCE and if all parties are cool w it. When writing stuff like this or any kinda of attack, we generally give a little space so that the mod of the opposing character will always have the time to dodge or deflext, just in case they don't want to. In this case, yeah, the mod had their character dodge. Ok! No big deal, we just continue the RP as usual, right?

And then the other ppl in the RP began godmodding not only my character while I was AFK, but also doing everything in their writing ability to make sure this character got hit. Many attempts of this. That made me super super uncomfortable. I was the first to say "hey, this isn't funny anymore. If Mod doesn't want the character to get hit, the character doesn't get hit, it's not that hard."

The mod would rb, agreeing with me abt the this is getting too far. I don't like that I had to be the one to stop it.

Now, I've put that blog on HIATUS. However, despite 3 posts saying otherwise, seemingly nobody's respecting it. I continue to get pinged and attempts to drag me into RP's w them, and it just annoys me.

This is difficult and I don’t have any advice other than just keep enforcing your boundaries if they don’t respect them then ignore them

Not for advice, just need to get it out of my head

I'm starting to prepare for the possibility I might not graduate highschool first try. It's not even that I can't get the work done, I'm just so slow about it. I know it isn't my fault, it's because I'm in asynchronous online school and haven't had as much human interaction as I actually need, and I have several mental disorders. I am on antidepressants now which is helping.

I know I'll probably be fine, I managed to get past one year old school where I almost failed science and had to take a test to make sure I knew everything, and fully failed math having to take summer school to get the credit, but it still hurts. The profession I want to get into doesn't technically need a highschool degree, but I already have so much off about my body and my brain. I need this for me. I'm going into an alternative highschool next year, so that will help, but I still need to finish three courses before that.

I know I'm being fine, and I know I can always just go to an adult school, but I'm fifteen with physical and mental disabilities, and I feel like if I can't even graduate highschool than how am I supposed to do anything else? Brains are stupid I've decided.

I want to not be social. I want to just hide in my room all day and do nothing, yet I want to do something and I just can't doing anything. It feels like everything is slipping away from me and yet I can't help but feel like it all goes slow enough that I have a chance to catch myself. Yet I can't move.

I can't do anything correctly. I wanna just be normal. I wanna help my friends who self harm. I wanna take away everything that hurts them, but I know I can't. I want to be with my best friend, but they're across the world from me. I can't even get comfort physically anymore.

why do people hate reading first person POV fanfiction???? like books are written in first person - why is it weird if i write in first person????? do inreally have to write from a second person POV?????

i run a discord server and sometimes it feels like i should just transfer ownership to someone else - no one ever responds to what i have to say and it feels like they intentionally ignore my messages

i keep putting up polls asking people how i can improve the server but even after a week it gets no votes except my own

if transfering it to someone else is genuinely something you want to do you should

Not any tw I can think of

I have a list of movies on letterboxd. It's supposed to be movies that make me feel like I'm not weird or less than human for my mental stuff, but it's becoming a genuine guilty pleasure. Not in the joking way that people use when they're having a cheat day on a diet they're trying for fun or something, but genuine making me sick to my stomach guilt.

And they do make me feel human, they make me feel like a normal person, and I watch them all the time, they make me feel like I'm not alone in the universe. But I've genuinely considered moving the list to a piece of paper and hiding it, removing all digital evidence other than the memory it existed, because the thought of someone going through that list and knowing exactly what I hide behind even my limited masking makes me feel like I'm a bad person.

It's not even movies that are like, horrible and offensive, it's nothing like that. It's stuff like Adam 2009, Lars and The Real Girl, I saw the TV Glow. It's just characters who don't fit into the norm, or struggle with "human" stuff. I want to share it so bad with people, but if I do they'll figure out that I like it because I relate to the characters, because I know I'm not subtle. Logically I know that no one would care, my family is really supportive, even before I got all my mental diagnoses and figured out whatever else I relate to from the movies, but I feel like it's some deep dark secret.

Some of them I can show others under the guise of liking it for the genre, but most of them I can't. I'm half tempted to give someone one movie and just go "Hey, this is how I feel a lot of the time, you can watch it if you want, but don't tell me how you think about it in relation to me at all, just tell me how you liked the plot if you watch it." Even that feels weird, because it's still admitting that I feel subhuman.

I'm tired. I just want to tell people I love how I actually am, under the masking, and the stuff I don't say even then because it makes me feel nauseous. I just want to feel human without feeling like I'm going to have eyes on me if I ever admit how I feel human.

I genuinely wish I knew how to help. But i myself am dealing with something similar. Telling people stuff especially stuff that’s important to you is difficult

i recently started writing fanfiction and i’ve barely gotten any likes or comments - im not mad, i know im very lucky to have gotten any traction!

it’s just that some people, those who i encouraged to publish their own stuff on tumblr, got way more attention on their stuff than i ever did in a fraction of the time. like if you combined all my posts into one, they would still have more interactions than i’ve ever gotten in the lifetime of my blog.

i just can’t help thinking what am i doing wrong? i poured my heart and soul into my writing and it feels like im not a good writer anymore because someone’s quick and dirty ( not a bad thing at all, i admire the speed with which they write ) got more attention than my stuff ever will

like i want to continue the series i’m working on - i havent feel inspired to write creatively since my favorite uncle died, almost a decade ago, until now - but if everyone thinks im a bad writer whats the point

The point of writing is to create. create something you thought into existence. Create something that only you can think up. No two people will ever write the exact same thing in the exact same way

plus if your feeling down think about every one who ever interacted with something you wrote in a room together. Even if it’s only 5 or 10 or 20. It’s weird that we think “oh only 10 people saw this” if a group of 10 people all gave you a high five you would think it’s a lot.

i’m so lost. i wish i could post about it, just to have someone notice, someone listen, someone just see me for once. But I’d probably just get judged on main. As too emotional, or just too much posting ooc on my supposed to be officalverse blog, and i just don’t want to worry anyone also. Or they wouldn’t care. And no one would see the cry for help.

but I’m falling back into depression again. after finally getting better, surviving through a failed suicide attempt that nobody still knows about, after finally getting past those emotions- everything crashed down again. i don’t have any friends at school, my mom has cancer, same with one of my grandfathers, while the other has another chronic illness. i get overwhelmed with anxiety, just for my dad to tell me it’s all ‘mind over matter’ and ‘feelings are just feelings’.

my grades are going down, even though for years I’ve always been the gifted kid, the one who skipped a grade and was still the smartest in the class, but now i’m barely even getting by. all just because I can’t find the motivation to do anything. Things i want to do, things I don’t want to do, it all just feels like too much. Doomscrolling feels even worse, and i do it anyways, but then i even lack the motivation for that somehow, and just sit there and stare thinking about what everything’s come to.

i don’t want to go back to that feeling I had last year. i’m really scared. because i was so close that time, the rope was around my neck, i had the chair, and if i didn’t get down I wouldn’t be here.

but I’m scared if it happens again, i won’t make the right choice this time.

yeah so my dad got angry and said that if I don't make an amount of money till like the end of the month we won't be going to literally the most important event of the summer. like if I don't go I won't see my irl friends for more than half a year. he's not willing to/can't pay for it, and it's practically not possible for me to make ~500€. i don't have a job I'm a fricking 15 yo! also he said that if I don't start studying more(which I haven't been doing coz the whole week i was very busy and tired) he'll block my phone and computer again. which is his solution to everything. on computer I need to ask him to unblock yt and discord every time I want to use it, and tumblr and pinterest are blocked permanently(& i can't just tell him that I'm using it. he's against me having social media). so i use tumblr on my phone but here he can see my activity and last time he got angry coz I use chrome for 3hrs. yeah so this is my vent I don't know why i wrote it I just needed to get it out of my mind. also i ain't putting it on my blog coz one moot knows me irl and every time I vent on there i feel like im seeking attention. yeah that's bout all thx!
