I love heated rivalry fics where someone talks sense into Ilya and tells him to get an immigration lawyer. By the end of season 1 he'd been living and working in the US for nearly a decade, which means that he would qualify by being a LPR for 5 years. Even if the goal is living in Canada with Shane, the US is better than Russia, and definitely a foot in the door.

I'd love to read a fanfic where male carriers/mpreg is exceedingly rare. In cis men positive pregnancy tests can actually be an indicator of some cancers. So imagine they're main character gets a positive test on a panel of tests, or they do the pregnancy test roulette trend on tiktok and initially panic because it's more likely for them to have cancer. Only to find out with an ultrasound that they're very much pregnant.

Ok i desperately need people to stop writing restrictive type eating disorders for Shane Hollander. This boy is THE hockey boy. He's a professional athlete, and on top of that, he plays a sport that requires being big. It makes way more sense for him to be orthorexic or maybe have ARFID than to be anorexic or bulimic.

Not to talk about a/b/o on main, but I love when authors do a little switcheroo on who the fandom typically considers the Alpha/Omega. Like we're all aware that Maverick or Shane Hollander are omegas, but it's so interesting to see Iceman or Ilya Rozanov instead.
