So I'm thinking reincarnation AU
For the v!smp cast so like Owen, Scott, Martyn, Sausage, Apo and Cherri (even tho she was only mentioned in v!smp)
So obviously you say 'How can some of them be reincarnated? They survived at the end of v!SMP. It's impossible!', here's where you're WRONG.
So what is reincarnation? - Obv it's a soul getting reborn into another vessel/body.
Ok then what are vampires? - Dead ppl brought back to life. And what do dead ppl not possess?
THATS RIGHT A SOUL!
So in my reincarnation AU there could be two of 'the same' ppl at the same time.
But how do the vampires survive without a soul? Well there's the obvious answer - they're dead they don't need it. But my personal headcanon is that vampirism is a som sort of parasitic disease.
So to become a vam you would need to die first soon after get turned. You could push it more into horror territory by saying that the parasite taking over the vampire's body is just hijacking their brain and coping their personality itd.
How would the vamp cure work? Simple it's just a spell that joinks the soul back into the body bc
okay, I just thought of an idea for the thornhelm princess au, what if like, when its revealed Apo is thronhelms princess to Ren while he and Alistair are visiting, Cherri panics thinking he might genuinely kill Apo, and shouts that she and Apo are engaged or courting, involved romantically in some way, and Apo just looks back at her in equal amounts of panic because "cherri wtf-"
They would do that. She does do that.
They aren’t even together at that point, so it really does take Apo by surprise. For a moment Apo even thinks, “have we been courting this whole time!?” until Cherri whispers to them to play along.
Apo is determined to be a great lover to Cherri. They keep being very attentive and keep giving Cherri flowers (something they have already been doing since they got here.)
Cherri is so scared that King Ren and/or Alistar were going to kill Apo, because of what the King of Thornhelm did. Thornhelm taught her that royals will always take drastic measures to ensure they get what they want. In her mind Ren wants to take Cherri home with him and Apo is an obstacle for that, therefore Apo would need to be eliminated in order for Ren to get what he wants.
(I think Alistar does catch on to their lies but also notices how much the two care about each other, so she doesn’t tell Ren about it.)
we had explicit kill counts for lots of the VSMP characters (cough 2,799) but we don't have similar numbers for the Bannerfall characters. so of course, I spent some time compiling lore to put together a list (I may be wrong or missing something, so feel free to correct me on anything). there will be spoilers involved below, so tread carefully!
important to consider: we start Bannerfall SMP after a conflict between the Red and Blue Kingdoms that killed many fighters from both Kingdoms, hence why they take on new members, so I'm assuming anyone who's taken part in past battles has likely killed others in combat.
also important to note: I'm only counting player permadeaths for this counter, so Nom's 400+ kills in the stats aren't being considered. most of those were out of character, and even the ones that were part of lore aren't treated as a proper death, considering that those that he reduced to 0 hearts are still alive and kicking afterwards. I'm assuming any temporary deaths are more like intense injury in-canon.
is likely Sausage. he's the most comfortable with death and is clearly not opposed to killing people, directly stating that he intends to destroy the Blue Kingdom and everyone in it. he's also definitely participated in several battles between the Kingdoms in the past. his necromantic abilities rely on people dying and rising to join his undead army, after all.
is probably Graecie. she's the oldest character in Bannerfall and is canonically over 100 years older that Sausage, which gives her the most time to be involved in battles between Red and Blue. but she's also clearly strategic about her involvement in conflicts (her only kill in Bannerfall is the only PVP permakill, after all) so she doesn't seem like she'd be on the front lines. though it could definitely go either way, I'm guessing that she has a slightly lower kill count that Sausage (even though he's technically on hers).
next up is probably Bek. she's participated in at least a few battles against Blue Kingdom, and is characterized as pretty offensive and ready to fight. she's a knight of Red, and part of a family (House Yamon) that's been fighting against Blue for decades. during her heart-to-heart with El, she even says "I do not wish for this war... and without meeting you I would." so before the events of Bannerfall, we have to assume she was a ruthless fighter that likely didn't show her enemies mercy.
there's also Nom. he's pretty young in Bannerfall (canonically 22-23), but is confirmed to have been part of at least the most recent battle between Red and Blue (as he says he was glad he didn't have to face Katie in that conflict). his character's considered to be very skilled, so it's not hard to imagine him being on the front lines. he's also got a baseline of 14 confirmed kills on his own knight squadron during his oathbreak. while he's definitely haunted by those deaths, he's definitely not averse to killing again (considering that he listens when Scott tells him not to resort to violence, but definitely pays attention to the fact that Sausage is "the one Scott said I could kill").
one of the most difficult characters to place is Apo. we know that she was a child soldier in Thornhelm, but we don't know much about what that was like. after that, she became a Moon Knight, but seems to have been part of the Solunan royal family's personal guard for a while. so she likely wasn't on the front lines, but it's hard to say.
another hard one to place is Shandrea. the destruction of her former home may have been because of her abilities, but looking at her backstory cinematic, it's hard to tell exactly how big her hometown was or how many people lived there. and if it was her fault, it isn't clear exactly how much control she had, so it sort of depends on interpretation.
then there's Eloise. she's lived in the Blue Kingdom her entire life, but it's unclear if she was part of past battles, considering that her parents don't approve of her being a fighter. from what I can remember/find, I don't think we ever learn if El was involved in past Red vs Blue conflicts, but there's a possibility that she was.
equally unclear is Mae. she, too, lived in Blue Kingdom her entire life, but largely lived in the shadows, with others actively not remembering her being around during their childhood. so it's hard to say if she ever participated in a conflict with the Red Kingdom before, and considering how much she strives for peace and cooperation during her monarchy, I have to imagine she wouldn't be thrilled to be involved in a battle... but it's still definitely possible.
at 1 confirmed kill is Kitty. this one's the easiest to figure out. Kitty was, well, a cat most of their life, and after she was turned into a human, they killed one person - the wizard who transformed her. after that, he travelled directly to Bannerfall, and it's extremely unlikely that they killed anyone else in that time. this is the most accurate and definitive number on this list.
at 1 (technically) confirmed kill is Katie. she canonically was not part of any past battles between Red and Blue because she wasn't knighted yet, so the only death she caused (as far as we know) is the Prince's. I say "technically" because not only was she commanded to do it, but also the Prince isn't technically human, but an allay/spirit.
also at 1 (technical) confirmed kill is Frogue. though he wasn't the one who committed the murder, he did order Katie to kill the Prince. again, a technicality, and the Prince isn't human, but he was involved there. outside of that, we don't have a ton of details about his life before Bannerfall, but being a newcomer to the Red Kingdom, he definitely wasn't involved in any past battles.
this one's up to interpretation, but near the bottom we have Owain. he lived in Walesland under King Arthur's protection (and was accused of poisoning him, but I'm under the belief he was framed), and, as far as I know, came directly to the Blue Kingdom after he left his home. however, he's a newcomer to Blue, and I'm pretty sure he didn't participate in their most recent battle with Red. Owain will do anything for his monarch and would not hesitate to kill any member of the Red Kingdom, but as far as I can tell, he never actually got the chance to do that. so I'd argue he's got a 0 kill count.
you could definitely disagree with me about this one, but I'd argue that another person with a 0 kill count is Cambam. yes, the plague technically came from him, but it was caused by the entity possessing him. he's actively trying to stop it from hurting others, even to the point of sacrificing himself.
and here's the list of people who I'm pretty confident have a 0 kill count: Cherri, being a princess whose powers only recently developed, 4c, who's definitely a thief but doesn't seem like the killing type, and Scott, who only recently arrived in the Blue Kingdom and has a difficult relationship with death.
v!mae skin! she got picked up by the organization like a stray cat and thrown at abolish whenever they realized how good of a vampire hunter she was. theyre still not entirely used to the whole being rich and following rules thing but theyre getting there. how did she end up on the run? wellllll just dont worry about that

I do not for a second believe TF!Pyro is going to survive this venture (as in, The Flight.) In four projects I've seen him in, the only project he has survived is the one project he has no creative control in (whitepine).
