âGot it in one. Â For a spy agency, Â not a lotâs going on here. Â Ready to go?â
âYeah, thereâs a new pub just down the road. Letâs go. And a lot pf agents are out on missions, leaving us trainees with a few peopleâÂ

âItâs short for OscarâOscar Yeun-Cartwright, actually. Â But call me Oz. Â Svenâthatâs not short for anything, is it?â
âThatâs quite the name, and no, itâs not, but just call me Ven for short. Are you a new trainee?â
oscary-c:
âSure! Why not?â He grinned. âIâm Oz, by the way.â
âOz? Is that short for something? Iâm Sven, by the way, Sven Ives.â
dorianblxnc:
âThirty years in our line of work? Iâm sure you know thatâs highly unlikely.â
âYes, but itâs best to remain optimistic. Value it a little more.â
ameliariddle003:
âOkay!â Amelia smiled, she was actually going out, it wasnât something that she did normally, but hanging out with co-workers was nice, even though she was starting to feel a nervousness that she felt everytime she was involved in a social-something âYou mean that new pub with the pool hall?â she was referring to the game.Â
âYeah, the one with the pool hall and the poker tables and so on.â Sven let a small smile grace her lips. It was a new pub in a new town where nobody really knew who she was. âI thought it might be fun to play a bit.â Sven didnât really consider herself a gambler since she always won.Â
dorianblxnc:
âItâs relaxing, really. Simple as that.â
âWonât be so relaxing in thirty years when you die of emphysema.â
ameliariddle003:
âWhy not?â Amelia smiled  âI worked all day, I need to unwindâÂ
âGood! A new pub opened up nearby, so I figured I might as well go check it out with someone.â
mlnhuang:
âOh- no. I donât think thatâd be a very good idea.â For me, at least. Min kept the last part in her head. Drinking had always seemed like such an afterthought to her, like something life had written in because it had run out of ways to have fun. âThough maybe you could find a way to have fun by yourself.â The sentiment was an obvious afterthought, with very little sincerity. Regardless, Min decided that being so rude to someone she so barely knew.
Be nice, you can always kick her ass in training. âI take it youâre new here. Right?â Sven tried to be polite, but when people werenât being polite to her, she had no reason to reciprocate it. Especially so someone so new.Â
dorianblxnc:
He let out a laugh, nodding. âIt isnât quite so pleasant at first, I have to agree. And Iâm sure your lungs are very grateful.â
âSo, if I may ask, why do you smoke, then? If you think your lungs would be ungrateful to you.â
âI think Iâm in the mood to go out for a drink. Anyone want to join?â
dorianblxnc:
âThank you, I needed that one.â Dorian replied with a smile, giving the lighter back after lighting the cigarette.
     âDo you smoke as well?â
âNo, I donât, I tried it when I was younger and almost coughed out a lung. I also detest the taste.â
dorianblxnc:
     âHave you got a light?â
âI personally donât smoke, but I do have a lighter. Here.â

No one needs to know about this.â He said quickly. âIf someone finds out you killed someoneâŚ.â
Jude sighed and ran a hand through his hair. This wasnât good.., there would be recordings⌠Proof of Sven killing someone.
âWeâll figure it out⌠Fuck.â
âIt was self defense. They would have killed me if I didnât pull the trigger first.â Her words were cold and emotionless, but they had to be.
âIâll be okay. I really just want to go back to my room and shower, if thatâs okay...â She couldnât look tense, she had to be relaxed. She didnât need people worrying about her when there was really no reason for them to.

âYou have a good point, the double-os have to be on missions but I donât know about everyone else. Donât you have a mission to be on though?â
âI did, but Iâm back now than the Danish government is currently not overthrown. So, Iâm waiting around for someone, and at this point I donât care who, to help with training considering my trainer is, in fact, nonexistent.âÂ

When they landed, Jude detached the parachute and hailed the closest taxi, asking for the airport. He told Q9 that he was on his way back and finally looked at Sven.Â
âWhat the fuck was that?â He asked eventually, unable to keep the anoyance and shock from hs voice. He wasnât angry, he was surprised that she would do that with no properv training. How did she just kill somebody wthout hesitation? He knew she would make a great agent, but this was going t be a lot of paperwork.Â
As they continued down, Sven could only wonder just how mad Jude was at her. She couldnât tell from his silence, and she was a bit too shaken up to use her normal âpowersâ of perception, so she was simply quiet, waiting for him to speak.
âI... You were surrounded, and he had me by my throat. I could tell it was me or him, so...â Her voice was quiet, but unwavering. She had learned to keep a poker face, and it was that skill that kept her from breaking down. She was inside, certainly, but her face was blank and unchanging.Â

Sven wasnât trained to kill, not yet anyway. MI-6 hadnât given her permission, or license or anything, and now Jude knew they would be in trouble. He quickly shot the other guy by Sven as she dropped to the floor from shooting the man holding her against the wall.
This time when Jude sprinted, he grabbed hold of Sven tightly and headed for the nearest window, smashing through the glass and free falling temporarily through the air. Jude pulled the cord by his side attached to his back which ejected the parachute from the backpack he was wearing. The material caught him as he fell and he kept a firm grip on Sven as they slowly descended down. He said nothing, unsure about what to say.
As the body in front of her fell, Sven could feel the hot blood splatter up against her face in speckles, her initial reaction one of horror and shock. However, once again, she had no time to fully react as Jude practically tackled her out the window.Â
She would have yelled if she could but the shock currently overtaking her mind was too much. Blood was on her hands, literally, and someone who had a life was now gone. Maybe they had a family, they were a son to someone, they might have been someoneâs lover, and now they were gone because of her. Sven was glad that Jude kept quiet, because she knew she couldnât speak in return. She wanted to take a shower and wash off all evidence of the fight on her, all evidence of the life.
