Sorry I haven’t replied or anything in awhile, I’ve just been really busy lately with life in general. I won’t be on for the weekend and a few days after due to various circumstances, but I’ll try and be back on asap. Sorry about that!

Wait.
What.
What?!
“How’d you know my… Kouta-niichan… gross hair?! What?!?”
There were too many things he wanted to ask, and the young man could only look incredulously at the child. Did he meet this kid from somewhere before? What was going on? And this… this familiar, condescending aura….
“Anyway! I-I don’t know how you knew my name, and I don’t think I’ve seen you before but… you can’t hang around outside!” He brushed his fringe back consciously with a frown, before kneeling next to the child to speak with him at eye level.
“Did you get separated from your parents? Maybe we can find them in the safe house. I can take you there.”
Don’t know how he knew his name. Doesn’t think he saw him before. Did he get separated from his parents? Did Kouta-niichan hit his head on a really hard rock? He took in a breath of air, puffing his cheeks up as he pouted at Kouta.
“Kouta-niichan!!!! Quit playing dumb!!!” he stomped his foot again, glaring at the older orange man. “Why would my parents even BE HERE?” He wouldn’t want to see them even if they were. “And I’m not! going to a safehouse!!!”
With a hard swing of his leg, he kicked Kouta in the shin before starting to try and gain ground away from him.
“I can take care of myself!!!”
Thank You Mr. Banana~
Amazing…the power he displayed was truly amazing!! The child rabbit was left in awe of the young man. The armor he wore…wait…was he a…
“Kamen Rider?” Was he like Ryotaro and Momotaros then? Wait there was another rider in her city, an evil one named Decade. But this was an alternate world so the chances of this rider being a good guy was large right? He did protect her and asked her about a safe house after all.
“C-Chibi Usagi has no time for that! She has to find people to go with her to the Hive City in the sky!!” Placing her palms on the ground the young blue rabbit girl pushed herself up.
Kamen -- Had she met other armored riders before, then? The moment of distraction lent itself an opening for the militia coming at them, and Kaito soon found his side in pain. He didn’t want to imagine how much worse that’d have been had he not transformed.
Gritting his teeth, he brought down the slicer on the belt once more - COME ON! BANANA SQUASH! - and swung the spear at them. The impact of the projection that came forth sent the approaching militia flying, and backed up closer to the girl.
“To the -- That’s where these people are coming from,” Kaito replied, glancing at her. “What business do you have there?”
( My apologies! Kaito is currently housed in District Gamma, if there are any open apartments, I would like to request a move! )
He’ll be moved to apartment h-6!

Kouta’s arm ached whenever he tried to move it, but the rest of him was fine, he’d insist, and he left the safehouse he was staying at, to go around in case someone needed help outside or anything like that. He probably still couldn’t fight properly (and he still had to keep his arm in a sling), but he’ll cross that bridge when he gets there.
And as though on cue, something moves at the corner of Kouta’s eye. A kid? Kouta called out to the child, while jogging up to them.
“Hey! It’s dangerous out here, kid! Come on, let’s get you to a safehouse.”
Our hero unwittingly walks into battle.

His self proclaimed guardians would undoubtedly be in panic right now. They’d with, much emphasis, told him not to wander over to the other Hive. Then again, they often told him things with much emphasis, and whether or not he actually listened was another story.
They weren’t his parents. Thankfully they weren’t. They couldn’t tell him what to do.
Kaito had, obviously not been listening to them and in an act of childish rebellion he found himself in the other city. That gravity shift was weird, but awesome. Totally awesome. Only a truly strong kid could appreciate that. What do you mean he felt a little sick after landing here. No he didn’t.
Despite the sectors of Hive City being undoubtedly unsuited for a child to run around in, Kaito had expertly hidden himself from sight of those engaged in combat.
Or so he thought he was totally an expert at hiding from people for the moment, when a familiar voice called out to him.
“Hey! It’s dangerous out here, kid! Come on, let’s get you to a safehouse.”
“Kouta niichan?!” Kaito balked a little, and then fussing loudly at him, “ I’m not going to a safehouse!! I told you that!! Don’t call me “kid”!!! and what happened to your GROSS hair?!”
Stomping his foot down, he pouted at the older boy.
Take Up Banana Arms || Kaito [CA Event]
The siege was rapidly turning into a war outright.
He’d feared this for his home world for so long, and now, here, with none of the years of preparation to offer what little hope he could find, could create… It was all he could do, now, to fight off the aggressors with force as nonlethal as possible. He could, he would search desperately for a solution later, for any way to stop this other than the one that the scientists had offered – the complete destruction of another world, full of people who…
Later, when there weren’t lives on the line. When there weren’t civilians cowering behind cover, under his guard. Utterly reliant on him for safety.
The militia had proven relentless, armed to the teeth and trained, a faceless enemy that struck in small squads for the most part. Faceless, and yet Takatora looked and saw his own men in their armor, dutiful and terrified but knowing that they had so little choice (or so their commander at arms had told them, had insisted, had told himself). But there was little choice for him either. (He hadn’t the heart, even so, to leave the two squads that had previously ambushed them without ensuring that they were alive. Habit, perhaps. Even footsoldiers had homes, lives.)
Reasoning hadn’t worked, twice over. Had he not more than likely ruined his own chances for diplomacy by incapacitating one of them immediately upon encounter (something he deeply regretted, but they put themselves in his reach and would not have relented if he’d refrained), it most likely would’ve not worked a third time. They had to follow orders, he had no doubt. What could they do beyond follow orders in a time when their very existence seemed at risk?
The Drivers and their Arms had not been made with nonlethal force in mind, and it made these battles trying more in terms of patience than anything else. He grabbed a second of the four by the shoulder and delivered a hard blow to the ribcage, followed up with a swift open-palm strike to the chin. His opponent buckled to the ground, effectively out of commission, more than likely with several broken ribs to show for it…but they would live. That was more than he could say for himself if they had their way about it – or, more vitally, his charges. These soldiers were ordered, judging by their behavior, to use lethal force. Whatever means necessary. And he could not allow that to happen. Even so, seeing two comrades in arms fall in such a manner did nothing for morale, and he could only hope his remaining opponents were wavering beneath the surface. It was an opportunity – a risky one, but an opportunity, and he had learned to take those where he could. Heart in his throat and desperate to reason, Takatora lowered his Sonic Arrow to a more neutral position, though still at the ready to defend himself, even if at a disadvantage. “If you are wise, you will turn back and return to your own world. This is an unnecessary battle. It’s only hurting everyone involved.“ His tone didn’t waver, hard at the edges, forceful, but in truth, it was a plea as much as anything.
One, two. A swing, a block. The impact from the block forced Kaito back. Kaito was starting to feel a little winded - but.. no, he’d worry less about his own physical state later - he was determined to incapacitate as many of these figures as he could. If anyone was going to survive it would be him, or he’d lose everything, including his life trying to defend it.
The never ending militia was undoubtedly taking its toll all over the city though. That, on top of strangers he’d heard of in passing from citizens he totally did not intend to save at all, with powers that sounded pulled from a comic were around? No. Don’t worry about it.
That didn’t change that he needed to catch his breath too. Fighting his way through the group around him - he eventually found his way to a seemingly quiet area.
Only seemingly though. The sound of fighting came from not too far off when he had started to contemplate unlocking the driver for a moment. If they were fighting... It was best he took out the ones nearby too before he assessed his injuries.
Quietly, Kaito made his way over, the banaspear in his hand, ready to thrust it at anyone foolish enough to run at him. There...
The white armored rider? Here? ...Was he trying to talk to them? Was he stupid? They weren’t going to relent, even if he asked. To try and bargain with them... even while trying to protect others behind him.
“...Is he truly as foolish as Kazuraba?” Kaito asked himself. Regardless, the enemy was in sight.
Brandishing the banaspear, he approached. The time for “bargaining” could come once the other side was groveling at their feet - only then would they possibly listen.
Wartime PSA
As expected, classes are unavailable during our inexplicable state of emergency. However, the school itself is open to members of the public as a safe haven! The medical and science wing is available to the minorly injured and the food hall will offer rations free of charge to all defenders of the school and noncombatants, as well as healers and doctors.
As such, we request that members of Hive City volunteer to protect our campus and its refugees, as well as any transportation between Hive Hospital and Hive Academy, as we will be accepting overflow from their medical wards. As our classes were already free of tuition, there is unfortunately nothing that we can offer as recompense.
The Kid Isn’t Alright {Drabble}
He lived selfishly. He died selfishly.
And yet the anger was never directed at him, but at himself. To not be strong when it was needed the most... How could he not be? Kaito’s hand curled into a fist as he reflected. The situation in Hive City was undoubtedly much like the situation in Zawame. Although they were markedly different as well, it did nothing except remind him of days past.
And better left there.
Kaito flicked his coat back, shaking his head to clear the thoughts away. This wasn’t a time to wax sentimental, and he knew it. Although the place he stood was safe for now, there was a good chance in a moment it couldn’t be.
His district wasn’t exactly safe to begin with, much less for a...child. He looked to a street briefly, and started to look away, but then.
Startled, Kaito whipped his head to look back over towards a street. He could’ve sworn he saw... ? But the street was now empty, no sound echoing from the alley close by. But could it have--
No, that was impossible.
He couldn’t have seen himself, not as a child especially, wandering around here. Kaito’s eyes lingered on the street a moment longer, before finally taking the lockseed for the Rose Attacker from his pocket.
District Gamma may actually be driving him mad.
If that was him though... no. Don’t be ridiculous.

Chibi Usagi continued to run from the many soldiers chasing her, but it was too late. Tripping on the ground the young rabbit tumbled a bit, her knees scrapping against the ground as she did. Dammit at this rate she would have to fight back! But she could end up killing them!
“…I…Chibi Usagi don’t want to see people die…but…” Raising her [Gift Card] the [Mock Divinity Vajra] appeared into her hands. As much as she would like not to go on the offense she had no choice.
She fired one lightning bolt, sending the soldiers to back away. Yes! If she could continue to scare them off then she could get away! Once again she fired a thunderbolt, but this time the soldiers raised their guns.
Huh…she did not think this one through.
|”Transform!”
The rabbit turned her head around, seeing a young man in a black and red outwith with an oddly shape belt. Wait…
“BA-BA-BABABABA-BANANA?!”
BANANA! Lock, ON!
What appeared to be a giant banana descended from the sky, and Kaito cast the rabbit girl a sideways look. So that’s who had cried out earlier.
“It’s Baron!” Kaito corrected, bringing down the slicer on his belt. The sound of trumpets hung in the air, as the banana dropped down over his head, before parting into armor.
Come ON! BANANA ARMS!
Kaito brandished the spear that appeared as he approached.
KNIGHT OF SPEAAAAAAAAAR~!
With a hard swing, knocked the soldiers closest to the girl away. The impact sent the soldiers flying a distance away, where they visibly recoiled in pain. Stepping in front of the girl, his back facing her, he took a battle ready stance.
“Why aren’t you in a safe house?” Kaito asked, his voice unchanging from its usual snarl. “This isn’t any place for a kid to be!”

Chibi Usagi ran as fast as her small legs would carry her. Why? Because she was currently being hunted down by pack of soldiers from her world. Damn that Astral for that ridiculous hit order on her head! It was bad enough she got separated from one possible ally, but that SOLDIER ran off attacking his alternate!
“Doesn’t matter where Chibi Usagi is Cloud is useless in BOTH worlds!!” She cried out to the city above her head. She had to find her mother’s counterpart, she had to get help someone in fixing this situation!!
“SOMEONE HELP ME!!!”
...For the moment, Kaito could catch his breath. He certainly wasn’t out of shape - between formerly dancing with Team Baron and dealing with the Inves, there was no time to get out of shape. He leaned back against the wall behind him, closing his eyes in thought.
.He hadn’t seen Peko since all this had started, and as far as he knew, Peko could--
“SOMEONE HELP ME!!”
The thought was cut off by a loud scream nearby. The voice sounding distinctly like a child. Kaito looked over in the direction of the scream, already starting to run over. There wasn’t any way a kid could take care of themselves in this mess, right? Other people could take care of themselves among this, but...
Kaito took his lockseed out of his pocket as he ran over, twirling it in his hand before setting it into his driver.

Kouta had to stop himself from rolling his eyes– though really, Kaito wouldn’t have seen it anyway. He was about to respond, but the last comment caught him off guard.
“–Hey! Well soooorry for trying to save you back there–”
He cut himself off abruptly with a hiss– there were even more of them? He brings the slicer on his belt down once–
♪ Soiya! ORANGE SQUASH!
– And made a large, swooping motion with his orange slice sword, sending an orange wave at the oncoming attackers. He winced – he only hoped to throw the people off from attacking them but…
…. He had no time to worry, because they didn’t even relent– and even more are coming at them.
Taking Kaito’s cue, Kouta stepped closer, their backs almost touching, to keep an eye on the side he was facing. He connects the Daidaimaru to the hilt of the Musou Saber, and hesitantly reaches for the lockseed on his belt.
“Where are all of these people coming from?! Who are they?!” They were clearly human, clearly aggressive and without remorse– but still… human. He gripped his newly-formed naginata tensely– was direct confrontation really unavoidable?
Kaito had opened his mouth to retort, then closed it again, a barely audible “tch” and tongue click sounding coming instead. The fact there were so many... He reached for his belt, bringing the slicer down once as well.
Come on! Banana Squash!
Several banana projections came forth within a few seconds, shooting themselves at the approaching figures. Incapacitated at the most, Kaito imagined, but he grit his teeth anyways, looking back over his side.
“Where are all of these people coming from?! Who are they?!”
Hmph. Leave it to Kazuraba to visibly be concerned with such things in the middle of a fight. It’s not like the questions he had weren’t valid ones, but Kaito would’ve saved asking for later.
“That isn’t important right now, Kazuraba!” Kaito yelled, blocking an attack from one of their assailants. “We’ll find answers if we can get through them, first!”
Following this declaration, Kaito swung at them once more, giving a grunt of irritation when an attack failed to connect. And another one, upon taking an attack, causing him to stumble back.
“Tch!!!”
