“Very good Operator Frostleaf.” Kramer nodded as the Operator came to report her progress, the Doctor was proud of her of course, the young woman had really come into her own.

“I do not require anything else, however I have an optional requestion from myself personally…did you want to go out shopping with me?”

“   .....You....want me to accompany you to go shopping?    ”

That certainly caught her by surprise, not expecting the request at all. She wasn’t all that familiar with that particular aspect, but perhaps it’d be a bit enjoyable with the Doctor, especially if she just offered an invitation.

“   I accept the invitation. I’ll go get cleaned up first.   ”

She honestly couldn’t not smile at her, brushing some of her hair from in front of her eyes. She had originally intended on killing time on her own, but since she had unexpected but welcomed company, she’d make the best of it. One more didn’t hurt after all.

“   ....Would Red like to accompany me then? Perhaps we both can enjoy the peace tonight while on lookout.   ”

A simple shrug, feeling she didn’t really need to elaborate any further, but she couldn’t deny that her first point was relatively spot on, as there really wasn’t anything that caught her interest. Well...all except for one thing.

“   Not really. I’m out on my own choice... The peace and serenity is something to enjoy during the late hours when I have nothing else to do.   ”

The Vulpo looked up, sliding her headsets off. She honestly hadn’t expect to cross someone else around this hour, but she wasn’t really surprised either, suspecting others were like her and going about themselves at the later hours. “   .....No. Just around.   ”

It was hard.

It was always hard, but this seemed to be one of the hardest challenges she’s taken on. The nerve of wanting to continue doing what she did best; after all, it’s pretty much all she knew then.

To fight.

To shift from endless fighting and travelling to a more ‘peaceful’ life was….taxing, to put it lightly.

She wanted to go back out there. She wanted to go back to her world of ‘normalcy’. However, she didn’t want to disobey orders, so she took on that new challenge.

It was hard.

It was always hard, but this seemed to be one of the hardest challenges she’s taken on. The nerve of wanting to continue doing what she did best; after all, it’s pretty much all she knew then.

To fight.

To shift from endless fighting and travelling to a more ‘peaceful’ life was....taxing, to put it lightly.

She wanted to go back out there. She wanted to go back to her world of ‘normalcy’. However, she didn’t want to disobey orders, so she took on that new challenge.

She needed something, anything...anything to get her mind off of it. The first thing to come to mind was something she’s held onto for some time now; music.

Maybe now, she could listen to and explore more genres she missed out on during her work, not having much else to do other than the occasional task at hand. To later find out just what kind of music there was, and how much of it there was as well...it was mesmerizing. Though, quite a bit of it didn’t exactly fit her taste, noting some of them that didn’t seem right, or didn’t have a particular ‘vibe’ she liked. Though...for the ones she did like, they’d be added to her now extensive playlist.

...

The idea of socializing was a rather daunting thing, as she was never much of a ‘social’ individual. She was always alone, either tucked away in a room, sitting idly in the other side of an area, or away elsewhere doing other things. She’s always noted and seen everyone talking amongst one another, some being closer to others than some. Friends, family maybe. Others perhaps being even more than that. At least, that’s what she assumed, not knowing too much about it.

During her time, she’d take the chance to learn a bit more about it, even daring to ask others for a tip or two to a first step; a first real step to making a friend. Though, that was the challenge now, wasn’t it?

Where that leaves her....only time will tell.

It was hard, she wouldn’t deny it. Though, she was well aware none of it would come easy.
