If you tag your stuff as DD:DNE and don't include any other content warnings then that's bad tagging!!! I don't know what's in the fic so I don't know what I should be looking out for because you only said that one tag and didn't tag for the shit that's actually in the story

The only time I could ever see the tag DD:DNE working alone is when it is used in conjunction with the “Chooses Not to Warn” archive warning.

“The author chose not to warn for content, or Archive Warnings could apply, but the author has chosen not to specify them.”

Those two, in conjunction, provide enough of a “READ AT YOUR OWN RISK” warning for anyone clicking. But that’s the ONLY time it’d work.

That being said though - I’m still an author who will always err on the side of tagging things involved, and I agree with OPs take entirely. Tag your stuff. Don’t just tag Dead Dove without telling me what’s in it. Literally does not matter, just tell me.
