doing a bit of deca research and as part of it I've reread divided loyalties
so was ushas exiled forcibly or did she leave of her own accord?
I've just been aimlessly sketching today so heres some awful women
all I do anymore is sketch ushas of miasimia goria
Obviously, I love all my OC's but I MUST admit.......I scream the hardest when someone draws Trace the Wizard, because I love seeing different interpretations of this design.
art fight attack on @passionpeachy!
old low fidelity cgi is so cool to me and not in an ironic kitschy way at all, glad people are starting to respect it as interesting art instead of just a worse version of modern cgi
i think out of disrespect we should just start using "spamtenna moment" as shorthand for when a nothing tier yaoi ships between side characters somehow manages to eclipse in fandom popularity all of the central character relations of both the main cast and the rest of the side characters that aren't men. i think this should become such a widespread and entrenched form of fandom lingo for insulting ships that the next generation of teens will grow up understanding its meaning and not its origins in the same way teens of my generation used adjective!character parlance long before ever learning what bang paths were.
Am I living in a different timeline than the rest of the world because this is the second post that said something like this on my fyp. Like, don't get me wrong, spamtenna has definitely become a fan favourite, but it's not nearly enough to the point where it's overshadowing the rest?? Spamtenna and Mike trio content is all the content I've been searching up and I'm still getting more main cast (fun gang, suselle, the holiday family, kris & sould beef etc) content than those guys (this is by no means a complaint, I love all dr characters). Or at least just as much. Due to all respect, I don't really understand what everyone's problem is
can you really tell me honestly with your whole chest that you think the numbers would still look this way if noelle susie and kris were male characters. that's what everyone's problem is.
i get the distaste for spamtenna (i dont care for it personally) but i feel like comparing the stats without context is a little unfair. Spamtenna is the only popular deltarune ship where both characters are adults, and the spamton/tenna tag on AO3 is nearly half adult content (explicit and mature). If you remove those noelle/susie is more popular.
a good chunk of why spamtenna is dominating is because people arent writing adult content about children. with how shipping-centric fandom is, im honestly glad ppl have been largely respectful with noelle/susie and found their own thing to get weird about
Okay, now compare the amount of non-explicit Spamtenna to the amount of non-explicit Suselle, AO3 has filters it's not rocket science
In fact, let's do that right now
So here's the top 6 ships currently. As you can see, Spamtenna has easily 1000 on the next non-platonic ship Suselle, and even more over Krusie and Kriselle.
If we filter out Explicit and Not Rated
Spamtenna is STILL outpacing the next non-platonic by over 200 works. Platonic Krusie is JUST barely behind it, but that's like, the MAIN relationship in the entire game, with the two most important characters barely making a close second to a chapter and secret boss slash pairing.
And the numbers just get even worse with every other slash pairing after that.
shit is dire yo
It's even worse now wtf!! (again with Explict/Not Rated fics excluded)
wait what's up with the AncientSweet
The AncientSweet is a consumable that can be obtained during Chapter 4 of Deltarune. It heals Kris for 400 HP. Despite the flavor text, it
tl;dr, it's an extremely rare item to get (because the requirements are basically missing a bunch of optional items that are super easy to get, or starting a file in chapter 4) where instead of what's in Kris's pockets, Susie checks Asriel's jacket that she's wearing, finds a love letter from Asriel to Catty, and to make up for making fun of their brother, offers Kris the other thing she found, the Ancient Chocolate
In the dark world it becomes the AncientSweet, which heals 40HP to party members (who comment how they don't like it), except for Kris, for whom it heals 400HP for some reason. Also says "Only Kris can eat it" despite technically able to be given to others
Why does it heal as much as SusieTea heals Noelle? Eeeh, who knows. Maybe cause it's chocolate. Maybe cause it reminds them of Asriel. Which could mean nothing. Anyway
I don't believe that Kris originally had a cyan soul but it is conspicuous that cyan is the only soul color without a soul mode
Some people seem to think the prophecy is literally Deltarune's entire script, or at least the normal route's. I don't think Ralsei makes sense if that's the case, though. Why would they be surprised about anything? Susie leaving the party in Chapter 1, Queen not knowing about the roaring, the Knight's appearance and actions in Chapter 3*, the Knight summoning the Titan, and a lot in Chapter 5 but particularly the Old Dark World and its connection to the Knight (which Ralsei basically confirms isn't in the prophecy at all given they directly say "the Knight is supposed to appear alongside the heroes" immediately after learning about the latter).
Ralsei shows genuine surprise and confusion to all of this, and I don't think that would make any sense if everything in the Normal Route was part of the prophecy that Ralsei canonically knows the entirety of and has seemingly memorized. If the prophecy really is the entirety of the Normal Route's "script," then Ralsei would know literally everything that happens in it before it happens. The only reason they would be surprised by anything is if those details weren't part of the prophecy, which inherently means the Prophecy isn't the "script" of the Normal Route.
*Yes, Chapter 4 confirms that Tenna being "cleaved red by blade" is part of the prophecy, but it doesn't state the Knight would do it. Given Ralsei says outright that they thought they could change the prophecy by acting kind and convincing Kris and Susie (two blade wielders) to do the same, I think the implication is that Ralsei believed that either Kris or Susie would do it, hence their genuine shock when the Knight appears and does it in Chapter 3.
5001 being divisible by 3 doesnt feel right
Shortcuts to determine if an integer is divisible by:
This is a given.
If the last digit is divisible by 2 (a.k.a. even), then so is the whole number.
If the sum of the digits is divisible by 3, then so is the whole number. The recursivity of this means that if the sum has multiple digits, you can add them up again until you get a single digit and see if it's 3, 6, or 9.
Like the rule for 2, but check if the last two digits are divisible by 4.
If it ends in 5 or 0.
If the rules for both 2 and 3 apply.
No shortcut. Alas.
Like the rules for 2 and 4, but check if the last three digits are divisible by 8. (Yes, this pattern keeps going for 16, 32, etc.)
Like the rule for 3, but the sum of the digits (or the sum of the sum of the digits, etc.) must be 9.
If it ends in 0.
So i just woke up and had a… realization. as to why ralsei wants us to spare and recruit as many darkners as possible.
so i went back and looked at some of ralsei’s dialogue across every chapter so far to try and see if my realization had any merit and…
Ralsei’s dialogue from chapter 1 & 2 DIRECTLY alludes to the ending of chapter 5
I think the reason Ralsei wants us to spare enemies is directly for Susie’s sake. Shes like. the main person that this would affect if she’s beginning to view castle town as a home.
Im just wondering how this would affect the ending of the prophecy, especially with chapter 4 & 5’s dialogue in mind.
Agh I’m not exactly explaining this right.
It just. Really feels like Ralsei is trying to protect Susie from something that will happen later. Like. The final prophecy (or something else relating to the ending) will directly involve her (well i mean. obviously, but like… you know what i mean.)
It really feels like. The ending of chapter 5 being so happy is set-up for something fucking horrible happening immediately in chapter 6. we have. literally no idea what happened in hometown (aside from something bad happening to rudy) after we entered the dark world and it feels like theres a sword dangling above every character’s head.
Chapter 6 WAS the only chapter of lord of the hammer that Gerson just. decided not to describe in any way whatsoever. Like. apparently he did write it, since it was Chapter 7 that he never made— its just that he just. didn’t describe it to susie during the fight. which is. idk. worrying and ominous.
Like. Idk. Ralsei going like “Recruiting darkners is important for making a good ending.” (even though its not really obvious how that could change anything other than saving Tenna and Jackenstein) and then seeing Susie in chapter 5 treat castle town like her home while she’s surrounded by the darkners in the same chapter where Ralsei is praying and is like “Have mercy on them… have mercy on Susie.” has me SO FUCKING SCARED.
i thought of something concerning the aborted weird route at chapter 5
while everything SEEMS the same, Noelle clearly has dialogue implying she somewhat remembers it, doesn't she? she knows she hadn't changed, she even says it herself.
but what if she WANTED to change, even with the dream being "fake"? what if, Noelle simply kept that determination to change, to do something crazy, without being guided by the soul? would she be more standing up for herself? would she try to take Susie out without having kris as a "guide dog"? would she do "something crazy"? what would that mean for her? would she follow Kris and Susie into the Dark worlds and realize her "dream" was REAL? how would that impact her? all i'm saying is, anyone willing to make an au of the deltarune chapter 5 aborted weird route has a LOT of potential material to pull from.
let's go to heaven
what no one tells you about becoming a girl is that you will discover an entirely new kind of rage. a Girl Rage.
and you will come to realize that every single woman you know is constantly dealing with it at all times. and always has been. forever.
