At the moment I’m mainly into Arcane (especially Jayvik, but I love all the characters), but I also love Magic the Gathering, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Owl House, Hellaverse and others. It’s really unpredictsble what my brain will decide I fixate on next.

I’ve been wanting to do more pixel art in ages!

For those who were following me with my previous nickname, I have decided to change handle to make the connection between this blog and my sideblog @veritywordsworth clearer.

I have removed posts about my Redbubble shop and from now on this blog will be focused on fanart and fanmerch going forward, under the name Verity Wordsworth, the same name I use on Ao3.

The blog will undergo further restyling in the next few days.

I hope you’ll find it enjoyable and I’ll see you on the other side. Since fandom content has alwats been the most appreciated on this blog I imagine you’ll like it more here.

It’s crazy how low self-worth fucks with peoples lives

Can we please normalise either using legible fonts in artworks OR at least putting the captions somewhere in the post?

I get that handwritten text in comics and sketches looks more aesthetic but some of you don’t seem to understand that not everyone can easily read handwritten text, especially if it’s small and messy.

I’m tired of struggling every time someone fills their fanart and comics with handwritten text that is necessary to understand the context of the artwork and I either have to struggle a lot or give up entirely. It’s frustraiting and it would be so easily avoidable if people paid more attention to accessibility.

So it looks like NaNoWriMo are happy to have AI as part of their community. Miss me with that bullshit. Generative artificial intelligence is an active threat to creativity and the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of people in creative fields.

Please signal boost this so writers can make an informed choice about whether to continue to take part in such a community.
