Brazil’s Copacabana Beach Covered With 420 Pairs of Women’s Underwear in Anti-Rape Protest

To protest the attack and to condemn a culture of sexual violence, NGO Rio de Paz organized a Copacabana beach protest in which 420 pairs of underwear — smeared with red paint — were set on the shore next to giant images of 20 models posing as victims of violence.
